The most important thing while preparing is to manage your Class 12 score with competition preparation. Don’t end up in messing up the both, that will lead to no side.
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is one of the most popular entrance exams conducted by a private institute in the country. What makes it one of the most popular exams for Engineering aspirants and how can you prepare in order to get good marks and can opt for the VIT college from your dream branch.
First, you have to study the exam pattern as in recent years it is noticed that there is a slight change every year. It might be of negligible in size but can impact your result a lot. It mainly comprises of four sections:
Explore popular B.Tech colleges for you
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- English
- Aptitude
Total number of questions will be 125, 35 for Physics, 35 for Chemistry, 40 for Mathematics, 5 for English and 10 for Aptitude. A sigh of relief here you will get is there is no negative marking, so you can attempt for all the questions easily. You will get 150 minutes to solve these questions.
So in order to get 100+ marks, if you want your desired branch and call in the first round of the counselling, then you need to be fast in solving the questions. For that you have to appear for the mock test daily, you can start appearing for the mock test a month before the exam date, before that you can complete all your preparation. During the mock test, appear just like you are appearing for your actual exam so that you can practise handling all the anxiety and disturbing elements that might be going on in your mind during the exam.
Analyse all your mistakes and try not to repeat those mistakes in the upcoming next test. In the last week, don’t do mock test, during that time solve all the sets of question paper that came in the past five years. You can find a couple of questions just like copy-paste type in your exam. In this you can also get the most scoring topics that you must focus on the most in order to get a competitive advantage in the exam. The most important thing that you will notice in the exam that most of the students don’t even know the pattern of the exam and are appearing for the exam. Most of the students who take private tuitions make up this community, the teachers don’t give them time to discuss the exam pattern, they are just busy in solving questions.
And yes the most important thing, managing your Class 12 score with competition preparation. Don’t end up in messing up the both, that will lead to no side. If you have a great score in Class 12 and not that much good in VITEEE there are chances that you can get counselling call from the institute, but if vice versa is there, then it is of no use. So also focus on your Class 12, also.
