
IIITH UGEE counselling 2026: The exam body conducts the IIITH UGEE 2026 counselling in online mode for all the candidates who qualify in the exam. Students who crack the exam as per the IIITH UGEE results 2026 will be selected for admission based on their merit, preferences, interview and seat availability. After qualifying in the UGEE exam, students will have to participate in the interview round of IIITH UGEE counselling 2026. The interviews is scheduled to be conducted from June 4 to 6, 2026, while the IIITH UGEE exam is scheduled for May 2, 2026.
Candidates can participate in further rounds of IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2026 counselling if they are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them. The counselling for all other channels - JEE Main, NK/ NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, DASA and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC) will be held separately. IIITH UGEE Counselling 2026
During the IIITH UGEE 2026 counselling process, the Students will have to participate in the interview. All of the qualified Students had to participate in the interview for admissions. Students are allotted as per their performance in IIITH UGEE 2026 and the interview.
All the Students selected for admission will have to cross-verify their original documents. Failure to verify their documents may lead to the cancellation of admission. If Students did not accept and pay for an allotted seat by the deadline, the seat will be considered cancelled.

What after IIITH UGEE 2026 seat allotment?
Once the IIITH UGEE seats are allotted, satisfied candidates will have to pay fees to freeze their seat. If they are not satisfied, they can decline without paying the fee. If no seat is allotted, they can continue with the next round. However, they will have to give consent to participate in the next round of the IIITH UGEE counselling process
What is fee to be paid for freezing the seat?
A one-time of INR 10,000 will have to be paid for seat allocation and INR 10,000 as an advance towards tuition fee will be required for continuation to the second and further rounds, this fee will be adjusted in the course fee of the said college.

IIITH UGEE Tuition Fee
The tuition fee details for 2026 have not been released yet. The Students can refer to the IIITH UGEE 2026 tuition fee to have an idea regarding the fee. The tuition fee for the academic year 2022 is Rs. 3,00,000. The fees for the hostel and mess will be extra. Students allotted seats should confirm the acceptance by paying tuition fee for one semester, on or before the acceptance dates are announced.. The fee of INR 10,000 (non-refundable) and the first-semester tuition fee of INR 1,50,000 should be paid online through the payment portal.

No, it's basically not possible.
The 5-year dual degree through UGEE (like at IIIT Hyderabad) has a completely separate admission process. If you join through JEE Main (B.Tech), you can't later switch into the UGEE dual-degree program.
