Q. What is the cut-off for MBA in HR Colleges?

A. The qualifying CAT cut offs are the minimum score requirements for MBA admission and differ each IIM. They serve as the foundation for selecting applicants for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).  For admission to any IIMs or top MBA colleges in India, the CAT cut off is minimum 90 percentile.

CAT cut offs remain high (99+ percentile) for top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow and IIM Kozhikode. In Tier 2 colleges, CAT cut offs are usually around 70-80 percentile and above and in Tier 3 colleges the CAT cut offs are usually fixed at 60 percentile and above. CAT 2022 cut offs are in the same range for these colleges. CAT 2024 cut offs will be released by the accepting colleges in January 2024 after the declaration of CAT 2024 result.
