Q:   Has NBE postponed NEET PG 2024 exam?
A: 

Yes. NBE postponed NEET PG 2024 exam as precautionary measure in the wake of recent allegations with NEET exam. The exam wil be held on August 11 in two shifts. NBE may issue fresh admit cards for NEET PG 2024. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on June 23, 2024. Candidates have to register on the official website to submit application form for NEET PG exam.

Q:   Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?
A: 

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into account while calculating marks. Students are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. 

Q:   Has NBE released NEET PG 2026 date notification?
A: 

NEET PG 2026 exam notification is available online. The authority will conduct the NEET PG exam on August 30, 2026. The registration process started on July 1, 2026.

Q:   Will NEET PG held for 2025-26 session?
A: 

Yes. NEET PG 2025 will be held on August 3,2025. Earlier there were speculations NEET PG could be replaced by NExT. But NBE has decided to conduct NEET PG exam for 2025-26 for the time being. NEET PG 2025 application form was released online on April 17, 2025. The deadline to submit NEET PG 2025 application form was May 7, 2025.

A. I am from Indore and I did my MBBS from AIIMS New Delhi in 2017. I come from a family of Doctors my Mom is MD in medicine, my Dad's a Surgeon and my Sister is MD in Dermatology. Ever since childhood, it was my dream to become a great doctor just like my parents.

Q. How did your family support you in your journey?

A. Doing MBBS is very difficult without proper guidance but I'm very lucky that my family supported me throughout MBBS, and always guided me in the right direction, they even recommended some books which they personally felt will be beneficial for me in certain subjects.

Q:   Has NBE released the revised list of NEET PG 2025 centres?
A: 

Yes. NBE has released the revised list of NEET PG 2025 cities post exam postponement. There are 233 test cities for NEET PG 2025 exam. The application window reopened to choose exam city from the list. The application window was open from June 13 to June 17, 2025. NEET PG exam centre 2025 were allotted with NEET PG 2025 admit card on July 31, 2025. Candidates must note the admit card has to be downloaded from the official website with login details. 

Q:   Where will I find detail about the reporting time for NEET PG?
A: 

NBE provides reporting time with admit card. NEET PG 2025 reporting time is 7 am. Candidates are advised to check test centre a day before the exam to know travelling time etc. Candidates must note NBE doesn't provide travelling expense and candidates will have to make their own arrangements regarding the same. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 3 in online mode.

Q. Where did you complete your rotatory internship?

A. I did an Internship at AIIMS New Delhi.

Q. Did you appear for any other PG medical entrance examination?

A. I appeared for INICET in November 2022 and have secured AIR 67.

Q. What are your thoughts on the NEET PG 2023 postponement that many candidates requested? Do you think the exam should've been postponed?

A. Personally I did not want NEET PG Exam 2023 to postpone because otherwise there would be a very less gap between NEET PG and INICET Exam which is on May 23.

Q. How did you prepare for NEET PG 2023?

A. I started preparing for NEET PG in my 3rd year. Till the final year, my plan was to focus on prof subjects and leave 1st and 2nd-year topics for internship.

Q. How much time did you devote to self-study vs. coaching and how do you manage to do both?

A. First reading is a must with the coaching to get the basic concepts and easy tricks that faculties teach from their own experience. After that, it's mainly self-studies and revision.

Q. Did you take any mock tests to prepare for NEET PG 2023 preparations?

A. I used to give GTs at least once in two weeks, my main focus was to master time management not to get rank in GT.

Q. Did you have any specific exam day strategy?

A. One day before the exam I stopped studying, slept early, got a proper sleep and in the morning on my way to the exam center I listened to my favorite songs.

Q. What are your hobbies and did you find time to engage in your hobbies throughout your NEET PG 2023 preparations?

A.  I like to play video games and yoyoing. During my preparation I did not get much time to focus on them as usual but whenever I get exhausted and tired of studying I would definitely play video games.

Q. Any message or advice for future medical aspirants?

A. My only advice is don't get in FOMO and keep giving GTs.

Yes, the NEET PG exam is tough. The exam is designed to test the knowledge of MBBS graduates in 19 subjects. Moreover, the number of seats are limited.

Yes, NEET PG city intimation slip was released on August 11, 2026. Candidates can check the city intimation slip through login portal. They can know the exam city name through the NEET PG city intimation slip.

Yes, NBEMS released the NEET PG admit card on August 26.  They will have to provide the login details to access the admit card online.

According to the past year data, the last round NEET PG closing rank for MD/MS admission at IUL Lucknow ranged between 4097 and 7174 in the year 2025. The most difficult branch to get admission to was MS Ophthalmology and the most-the easiest one was MS in ENT.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
