No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
- All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
- Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
- Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.
No, the NEET PG exam is scheduled for August 30. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.
NBE will not extend the NEET PG exam date. The exam will be held on August 30, 2026. Candidates must report to the alloted exam cente as per the schedule.

What After NEET PG 2025 Result?
Those who qualify NEET PG 2025 with minimum cutoff will be eligible for the counselling. A merit list will be released for 50% All India quota seats. Medical counselling committee (MCC) will hold NEET PG 2025 counselling for allotment of 50% All India quota seats. Rest 50% seats will be allotted by respective state counselling authorities. Candidates will have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment process. A total of 4 rounds of counselling will be held for NEET PG 2025 seat allotment.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
