Candidates have to appear in the exam and qualify it with the minimum cut off marks as per the category. Thereafter, he/she will have to participate in the counselling process for seat allocation. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and course for NEET PG counselling process. Seats are allotted based on choice declared, NEET PG rank, available seats, reservation fcator etc.

Q:   Why does MCC reduce NEET PG cutoff?
A:

MCC reduces NEET PG cutoff to fill vacant seats remain after starting two rounds. It is being said students who score top rank wish to get top branches and colleges and they do get usually in round-1 and round-2 NEET PG counselling. Once these coveted seats get filled, students have least chance to get them in remaining rounds. That is reason cutoff is reduced to encourage and make more students elligible for NEET PG counselling.

Q:   What are the qualifying cut off for NEET PG?
A:

Qualifying cut off vary as per the category. Candidates of unreserved category have to score little more than their counterparts of reserved category to qualify for NEET PG exam. Check the categorywise qualifying cut off in the table given below:

Q:   Does NBE reduce NEET PG cut off in any case?
A:

Yes. NBE reduces NEET PG cut off in case seats remain vacant after counseling rounds. Reducation of cut off makes more number of candidates eligible to participate in the counselling who were earlier ineligible due to low score. NEET PG 2025 cut off percentile has been reduced for each category.
