The National Medical Commission has announced the last date for admission to NEET PG 2021 All India Quota and State Quota Counselling. The deadline for admission for these postgraduate medical seats is May 7. All the four rounds of NEET PG 2021 counselling including stray vacancy round has already been completed. The final result for NEET PG 2021 stray vacancy round counselling was declared on May 2. May 7 is last date for reporting for the stray vacancy round.

NMC has also announced the last date for admission to D.M/Mch courses through NEET SS 2021 counselling. The deadline for admission for NEET SS 2021 All India Quota seats is given as April 30.

“Accordingly, the last dates of PG/SS Counselling for the academic year 2021 may be notified on MNC website for information/ knowledge of State Counselling authorities/medical colleges,” the notification released by NMC stated.

NEET SS 2021 counselling round two result was announced on April 25. Candidates had to report to allotted institutes for document verification till April 30.

Q:   Where will NEET PG counselling be conducted?

The counselling of NEET PG is an online process. Thus, candidates need not to go anywhere for the counselling process. However, candidates do need to report to the institute allocated to them for confirmation of their admission. NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. nic. in to participate in the counselling process. They also have to declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates will have to report to particular institute for document verification. 

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?
A: 

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. 

Q:   What is the last date to declare choices for NEET PG 2025 counselling special stray vacancy round?
A: 

MCC will provide dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling special stray vacancy round. Special stray vacancy round is held if MCC reduces cut off. Candidates have to login with registration ID and password to declare choices. It must be noted choice could be modified (edit/add/delete) any number of times till the deadline. Choices for NEET PG counselling must have to be saved and locked otherwise it gets automatically locked after the last date. 

Q:   Who will conduct NEET PG 2025 counselling for 50% All India Quota Seats?
A: 

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be conducting NEET PG 2025 counselling for 50% All India Quota Seats. Respective state authorities conduct conselling for rest 50% seats. Candidates will have to register online to participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. Apart from registration, NEET PG counselling comprises steps such as choice filling, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. Choices have to be saved and locked in the deadline other they get locked automatically.

The admission process for new academic session for postgraduate courses through NEET PG is already underway. NEET PG 2022 exam is scheduled to be held on May 21. Though some students are demanding to postpone the exam date due to insufficient time for preparation, the exam conducting body has decided not to defer it any further. MCC announced revised dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling. Round-2 counselling started on December 5, 2025. Registration had to be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Q:   Whether up-gradation is allowed from round 2 of NEET PG counselling of Deemed/ Central Universities to mop up round?
A: 

No, up-gradation is not allowed once a candidate accepts the seat allotted in round 2 NEET PG counselling and joins the institute. Upgradation is only allowed in round-1 when candidates who have opted for upgradation after participation in the next round of NEET PG counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choices for seat allotment. A total of 4 rounds of NEET PG counselling will be held for seat allotment.

No, you cannot appear in regional language in NEET PG exam. According to the NEET PG pattern, the examination is conducted in the English language only. All aspirants must refer to the question papers of previous years for NEET PG 2026 preparation.

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2026 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials.
