Which Courses can I get admission to with 400-500 Marks in NEET Rank?

With a NEET score of 400 to 500 marks, candidates are likely to get admission to the following avenues in the medical stream:

Private MBBS Colleges – The Private medical institutes often have a lower NEET cutoff than government colleges. Candidates scoring 400 marks to 500 marks in the NEET exam will be able to seek admission to good MBBS or BDS programmes offered in private colleges across India.

BDS Programmes – Another lucrative option is BDS, where a score of 400-500 marks is required for admission to government medical colleges. If a candidate scores 400+ in the NEET entrance, he/she will be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes in government colleges through state quota counselling, especially the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates.

Other Allied & Healthcare courses - Programmes such as BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homoeopathy), BUMS (Unani), or BVSc & AH (Veterinary Sciences) are in demand in government and private institutions. These courses are generally offered at lower cut-offs than the NEET cutoff for MBBS government colleges. Candidates can pursue these courses as well if not MBBS, as they are in high demand in the job market as well.
