NIFT 2025 Ph.D. and B.Des. (Artisan Category) Registration
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) announces the closing date for online registration for its 2025 Ph.D. and Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) – Artisan Category programmes for the academic year 2025. Prospective candidates are reminded that the final date for submitting their applications is February 28, 2025.
NIFT commenced the admission process on November 22, 2024, inviting applications from talented and creative individuals aspiring to pursue advanced education in fashion and design. Applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully review the eligibility criteria outlined in the Admission Prospectus-2025 before completing their registration. To avoid last-minute technical issues, candidates are advised to complete the online registration well before the deadline.

How to Register for NIFT 2025 Ph.D. and Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) – Artisan Category programmes?
- Visit the NIFT Official Website or NTA Official Website.
- Navigate to the Admissions 2025 section.
- Select the programme you wish to apply for (Ph.D. or B.Des. – Artisan Category).
- Carefully read the Admission Prospectus-2025 and ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.
- Complete the online registration form with accurate details.
- Upload the necessary documents as specified.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Application Fees for NIFT 2025 Ph.D. and Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) – Artisan Category programmes
- General/OBC Category: INR 3,000
- SC/ST/PwD Category: INR 1,500
The NTA has released the admission schedule for the NIFT 2026 entrance exam, including the application dates. The last date to fill application will be in the first week of January 2026.
Candidates applying a late fee will have to pay an additional INR 5,000.
The candidate will be given the option to edit the NIFT 2026 application form in the second week of January 2026.
Using the NIFT application edit option, the candidate will be able to edit or correct some of the information in the application form. Some of the details the candidate can edit include name, date of birth, category, state domicile, etc. However, the candidate is not allowed to edit the exam city. The schedule for the application correction will be notified by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at its admission portal - niftadmissions.in.
