AILET 2027 Application Form: The AILET 2027 Application Process is expected to begin in August 2026. Before releasing the AILET Application Form, NLU Delhi will issue a notification with important AILET 2027 exam dates. Candidates can register, access the AILET 2027 application correction window, and pay the fee online at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Only successfully registered candidates will be issued the AILET 2027 admit card.

As the AILET Notification states, the AILET application fee is INR 3,000 for General candidates and INR 1,000 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates must complete the AILET 2027 registration before the last date. About AILET 2027 Application Form

The AILET 2027 Application Process likely start around August 2026, as NLU Delhi usually open the form that time. Before the AILET 2027 registration, a short notice come out with all AILET 2027 exam date and other details. How to fill the AILET Application Form 2027?

Candidates who want to apply for the AILET 2027 have to fill out the AILET application form before the last date. Candidates will be able to complete the AILET Registration in the given manner.

Online AILET Registration

Go to the official website of NLU Delhi- nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Click on 'Register to Apply Now ' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information,

  • Create a Password
  • Date of Birth
  • Mobile Number
  • Contact Address
On the signup window, enter the required details. Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill out the application form using your registered email address.

Select the Law Course

The AILET exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law. For this, candidates need to select the application form for BA LLB (Hons) and LLM. Once the course has been selected, click on the 'Apply Now' button to move to the next step.

Fill the AILET 2027 Application Form

On successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill out the form to complete the application process of NLU Delhi admissions. Applicants will be required to fill in the information in the detailed application form of AILET 2027:

Upload Documents

Candidates need to upload their documents as per the specifications below:

  • The file should be in a JPG, GIF, or PNG format
  • The file should be a scanned copy of their recent photograph, a colour photo, with a white background, and the candidate's face should cover at least 75% of the photo

Signature

  • File size should be less than 1 MB 
  • It should be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format
  • It should be a scanned copy of the signature, either in black or blue ink on light color background. The image should be clear and not grainy

Final Step: Pay the application fee

The candidates will be able to pay the fee to complete their registration either online or offline. 

Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through an online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking, and proceed to pay. 

Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode, then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch, and a challan will be generated. Download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch within 48 hours of generating the challan. Once the fee has been paid, the updated status will reflect on the applicant's account within 72 hours.

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2027

Before filling out the AILET 2027 application form, candidates will have to fulfill the AILET eligibility criteria as provided below:

AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB
  • Candidates will be given admission based on Class 10+2 marks 
  • Candidates belonging to the General Category will need a minimum of 45% marks, SC/ST category candidates will need 40%, and 42% in the case of OBC
  • Class 12 appearing students can also apply for the BA LLB (Hons.) program 
AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria for LLM
  • Candidates who completed a graduation degree (3-year or 5-year LLB course) from a recognised college/university. 
  • General category candidates need a minimum of 50% qualifying exam marks 
  • The minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates is 45% and Persons with Disabilities
  • Candidates appearing for their final year LL.B. exam are also eligible to apply

Q:   Do I need to upload any category certificate while submitting online application form?

While applying for AILET 2027, Candidates do not need to upload document/ certificate needs, except BPL Certificate (in case of SC/ST). Candidates will have to prove their eligibility for claiming reservation under any of the reserved categories/sub-categories. However, the candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/KM/J&K resident categories/ PwD sub-categories will be required to produce original certificate at the time of provisional admission & document verification.

What After AILET Registration 2027?

Once the AILET Registration Form is submitted, NLU Delhi will release the admit card or hall ticket. It will be mandatory for candidates to carry the AILET admit card to the exam hall. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Along with this document, candidates also need to carry a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport).
