CLAT 2027 Registration & Application Process: The Consortium of National Law Universities released the CLAT 2027 event schedule on its portal: consortiumofnlus.ac.in on July 22. The Consortium released the CLAT 2027 registration link on August 3. Candidates are advised to read and understand the CLAT exam eligibility and fill the application form only if they fulfil all the conditions notified on the portal.

The last date to apply for CLAT is October 31. The Consortium can release the CLAT correction dates soon on its portal. The Common Law Admission Test application form is available online only and there is no provision to fill the registration offline. Candidates need to pay the CLAT form fee after filling the application form. Candidates should note that this year, the reservation criteria for Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai is changed. Earlier, the PwD policy and reservation policy for West Bengal NLU was revised.

Filling the registration form is the first stage of the CLAT application process. Candidates are required to register with their mobile number and email ID to generate the CLAT registration number. These credentials will be required to log in and fill the application form. The CLAT Login will be valid until the completion of exam process because all the important information related to the exam process will be released under the candidate's login.

The details mentioned in the CLAT registration form will remain valid for the Courses offered by the NLUs also. The Consortium will scrutinise all the applications and release the admit card for the eligible candidates. As per the exam schedule, the CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6.

What's New in CLAT 2027 Registration Form

The Consortium removed Vellore and Tiruvarur from the exam city list. If any of the candidates had opted for these exam centres, they need to select a new exam centre within the application dates. Candidates should note that CLAT will be conducted offline at the designated exam centres.

The Consortium of NLUs will open the CLAT Application Correction Window 2027 once the registration process is over. This will help candidates to edit their registration form in case they have made any errors or want to change some details. Candidates can edit the CLAT form 2027 in the manner given below:

Click on the Edit Application button
Go to 'Category and Seat Reservation' for NLU preferences, as well as the Personal details tab for OBC category status, whether Non-Creamy Layer or Creamy Layer
