NEET UG 2025: NTA Introduces APAAR ID for Registration and Examination Process

NEET UG 2025 application process along with the examination process would require candidates to have APAAR ID along with their Aadhar-based authentication for the registration process to begin in due course.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the implementation of the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID for the registration and examination process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025. In order to boost transparency and efficiency, the authorities have also advised candidates to ensure their Aadhar details align with the information on the class 10 mark sheet or passing certificate.
Why is APAAR ID and Aadhaar Integration Important?
Integrating APAAR ID with Aadhaar allows candidates to have access to a more efficient, transparent, and secure examination process. This further allows a seamless verification process and more credibility and integrity in the examination stages. The candidate's details and personal information can be verified and correctly recognised by the implementation of APAAR ID and Aadhar integration.
"Candidates are advised to update their credentials in Aadhar, preferably as per their class 10 marksheet/ passing certificate. Also, ensure your Aadhar is linked with a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication." The official notification reads further.
