RRB Group D Notification 2026: Application process
RRB Group D Application Form 2026 is made available online. The application fee for RRB exam is INR 500 for all candidates except fee concession categories while it is INR 250 for PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Communities, Economically Backward Class. RRB Group D application form filling fee is refunded after candidates after in the CBT. The window to modify the RRB Group D application form is made available after the application process closes.
The authority published the application form for CEN No.09/2025 on January 21 to recruit several posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The Board extended the last date to apply online from March 2 to March 9. The last date for fee payment is March 11. The application correction window was opened from March 12 to 21, 2026.

RRB Group D Salary

RRB Group D Selection Process 2026
RRB Group D recruitment stages comprise CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and medical exam. Candidates need to qualify all the stages for appointment to the post. According to RRB Group D selection process, the final selection or empanelment of candidates is done based on CBT provided they qualify PET, DV and medical exam.

RRB Group D Exam Pattern for CBT comprises four sections: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. According to RRB Group D exam pattern, the test paper comprises a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. PwBD candidates accompanied by a scribe are given 120 minutes extra time. Each question is for one mark. 1/3 marks are deducted for the wrong answers. The qualifying marks for the exam are 40 per cent for UR & EWS candidates while it is 30 per cent for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST categories. RRB Group D CBT question paper will be available in 15 languages: Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
