Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be offering admissions to its PG programmes and ADOP courses (Advanced Diploma in Proficiency) through the CUET PG 2025 channel for the academic session 2025-2026. The JNU Admissions Branch recently released a public notice for candidates interested in pursuing Master's degree programs such as MA, MSc, MPH, MTech, and PGD. These candidates must apply for the CUET PG 2025 exam to be eligible for admission. The CUET PG 2025 registration process is currently underway. The CUET PG 2025 exam will be held from March 13, 2025, to March 31, 2025, across 312 exam centers nationwide and internationally. NTA, the exam conducting body, will assess candidates' subject knowledge in the chosen course during the registration process. The CUET PG 2025 exam will consist of 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and will be conducted online (Computer-Based Test -CBT). The exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes for this session. Given the high level of competition, candidates are strongly advised to develop a well-structured and self-directed preparation strategy.
The choice of entrance exam for MBA, differs from university to university. If we take the example of MBA admissions in IMS Indore, School of Management, and AKS University we will see that among them also there is not much uniformity over the choice of entrance exam chosen for MBA admissions.
In the case of IMS Indore and AKS University, both of them only take into account the CUET-PG score of the candidate, whereas, in the case of School of Management – XAT, ITM, NEST, CMAT, CAT, ATMA exam scores can be considered for admission.
Tata Institutes of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced its decision to discontinue the TISS NET Exam. The decision is taken into consideration as per the directions released by the Ministry of Education stating the conduct of the CUET PG 2024 exam for PG admissions.
