Overall, the college has a pretty good infrastructure that is above average.
Placements: Placements are not bad. If you want to get placed, you can join the placement society, and the average packages are around 5 LPA-7 LPA, so I would say that placements are pretty satisfactory and above average if we compare them to other colleges, and I will also recommend joining the placement society.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, to be honest, there are air-conditioners in the classrooms, nice lecture halls, a nice library with a library card, and nice computer labs with good systems. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the campus, and almost all colleges have air conditioners.
Faculty: Teachers are good, classes are held pretty regularly, and the teachers cancel the classes rarely. Semester exams are moderately tough, but checking was done nicely, so very few students failed, and there were also taken, but in terms of attendance, the college is very strict.
Other: Only negatives are that this is an off-campus college and the overall area of the college is not that big, but other than that, the college is pretty good.

In short, Satyawati College (Evening) is okay for admission if you want to explore Delhi University.
Placements: At my college, placements are not working very well, and the placement rate is not very high. The highest package salary at Satyawati College (Evening) is 5 to 18 LPA. Currently, the packages provided by the college are very low. The salary is also low in these packages.
Infrastructure: According to the infrastructure, my college is neither very good nor very bad. The college is always well-cleaned. Washrooms are well-maintained. The college recently installed Wi-Fi for students. It has a well-maintained library and computer lab.
Faculty: The college faculty is very good and calm with students, except for some teachers. All faculty members are well-qualified. Many have Ph.D. degrees, and they have good knowledge of their subjects. Semester exams are not very difficult. They are of a moderate level.
Other: The college has very few events and fests. I think the college should paint the walls. The campus has a good crowd. Mostly, students are from other states and speak English, so there is no problem with language.

Review of HansrajΒ College and its students' life.
Placements: HansrajΒ College has a good placement record. It has a proper placement cell and internship cell for students. The institution's placement record is impressive. The 2024 drive reported the highest package of 23 LPA, and the average package offered is 8.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: HansrajΒ College's infrastructure is good. It has 7 computer labs. There is Wi-Fi in all classes, but it is not working. It has AC in all classes. The library is also good and has a huge amount of study materials. Sport facilities are also good. We have shooting, archery, and many sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. They are always ready to help students in every situation. They always teach in a very simple manner. They also conduct tests and quizzes for revision purposes. During the exam, they take extra classes. If any students have any doubts, they love to solve them.
Other: The crowd is good. Students come from different states in India. It also has some foreign students.

    An overview of Deshbandhu College.
Placements: This is my 1st year of college, so it's still very early to say. As per my experience, the college provides plenty of networking opportunities for the students. The societies also work hard in this department. Our seniors are often working in many companies as interns, too.
Infrastructure: Our college is pretty old. Our college started back in 1952, just a few years after independence. The old building is still used, but it has been renovated quite a bit. New buildings have also been made, and all in all, the campus is nice. The cafeteria section is always bustling with a crowd as they provide nice food.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are exceptional. All of them are highly qualified individuals who excel at what they do. The course that I am studying, B.Com (H), is, in my opinion, ready for whatever industries require in the near future. With some networking and skill development, it can be quite future-proof. The exams are at the university level. Each student gives the same exam set by the standards of the University of Delhi.
Other: The society fests and the yearly fest held by the college are very nice. The yearly college fest, Sabrang, brings in a lot of the crowd. The whole college gets excited about the fest, especially when an artist is about to come.

It has good placements. I am satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: Placements are very nice in the college, and it is all because of the placement cell. A lot of good companies' HRs are connected with students like EY and Paytm. A lot of my course students are doing internships at government-funded companies and good startups.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library where a lot of good resource materials are available. Our canteen and cafeteria are also nice. It has computer labs which have working computers, and we use them for our practical subjects, which is a great learning experience for science students. We have proper labs.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and knowledgeable. They know what they are teaching, and they teach it in a way that students can easily comprehend. Our financial management and business maths teachers are great. I think we have a few failures in our course because of the good faculty members.
Other: The only thing that I feel can be improved is the quality of events. We have a lot of events. The quality is not really nice in each event, but it can be improved.

Placements: Placements in our college are really nice. We have regular internship drives by societies like Marksoc, Cell, or ComSoc. Placements are good enough. Many of our alumni are in top B-schools. The top roles offered are data analytics and business analytics.
Infrastructure: The college has nice Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. The library is very resourceful and has a lot of book options with PYQs. The infrastructure is also good. We have a lot of good options for classrooms. The canteen is okay, but the cafeteria is amazing.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and knowledgeable. They share a lot of knowledge with us and teach us in a really interesting and practical manner. Also, whatever is taught is relevant to real-life applications. Tally or Power BI is taught in our course, which can be used later.

At the undergraduate level, the University of Delhi offers full-time BCom and BCom (Hons) programmes which are considered two of the most competitive courses offered by the constituent colleges of the varsity. The duration of both programmes is three years. Admission to these courses was subject to merit in Class 12 till 2021. However, starting in 2022, admission for all the  UG courses at DU is based on CUET  (conducted by NTA). The criteria for BCom (Hons) admission at DU is as follows:

    • The candidate must be a citizen of India
    • Candidate must have not crossed the age of 25 years
Q: Β  I have scored less than 60% marks in class 12th. What are my chances of getting admission to B.Com course at University of Delhi?
    A:

Q: Β  Is CUET fee revised?
    A:

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on CUET 2026 notification PDF.

Q: Β  How is the overall infrastructure of the college?
    A:
Here's my answer based on the given reviews:

    1. The college's infrastructure is considered reasonable and adequate, with some reviewers mentioning that it is neither too good nor too bad.
    2. Some reviewers praise the comfort and quality of the seats, as well as the availability of air conditioned classrooms and labs.
    3. The new classrooms are appreciated by some reviewers, who also mention that the library is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi.
    4. While some reviewers find the library to be good, others express mixed opinions about its usefulness.
    5. Reviewers generally positively describe the campus size, facilities such as Wi-Fi and the canteen, as well as the presence of separate departments for different courses.
    6. Medical facilities and hostels are also available and the college hosts annual sports events and inter-college competitions.

Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be decent and well-maintained, with some areas standing out as particularly impressive, such as the new classrooms and the fully air-conditioned library.
Q: Β  When will be CUET UG exam conducted?
    A:

For final admissions to ECA and sports supernumerary seats, however, depends on two factors. These are as follows:

    • 75% weightage is aligned to certificates/ trials/ performances

Q: Β  What is the application fee for BCom (Hons) at DU?
    A:

    A. The aspirants of BCom and BCom (Hons) are required to apply for CUET UG before registering on the DU portal. After registration for the exam, students must pay the registration fee which is as follows:

    Category

    CUET Application Fee

    SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third Gender

    INR 550

    Outside India

    INR 3,000

Candidates also have to pay an additional application fee which is charged on account of DU CSAS registration after the result for CUET UG is out. It is INR 250 for General category students and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 for students who wish to cancel their enrolment.

Q: Β  Can I take admission for BCom at DU with 83 per cent?
    A:
For admission in Delhi University for BCom, candidates have to follow the process laid down by the University which is to register for the CUET. Delhi University accept applications for UG programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and final admission depends on the previous Class 12 scores and the score obtained by students in CUET.
After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university.
Now, while the process of the university has changed, the competitiveness of the colleges allocated to the students under DU have not. Hence, it can  be considered that getting into a BCom college under DU for a General category student with 83 percent will be equally tough in 2024 as it was earlier. However, students with excellent CUET scores might stand a chance.
