The college is not so good, not so bad, but it is an underrated college for sure.
Placements: I am from B.Com third year. Placement is not good. Only a few good roles in the field like auditing come to our campus. Otherwise, sales roles are in abundance. Big companies do not come. KPMG and Flipkart come. Internship opportunities are high but not really good when compared to other colleges. Unpaid NGO internships are high in number.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not ready yet, construction work is going on. The campus is small with no ground and less space to chill and relax. Otherwise, infrastructure is decent, better than a few DU colleges. Full Wi-Fi connectivity is available. Labs and library are well maintained. Classrooms are spacious. A few AC rooms are also available.
Faculty: MSCW faculty, especially in the commerce department, is very good. They are kind, helpful, and supportive. Their teaching skills are great. My course curriculum (B.Com) is absolutely relevant. It does not make the students industry-ready directly, but it sets the base which is essential. Overall, it is good to go. Semester exams are not really tough, and a few days of preparation are enough.

An informative review to choose this college.
Placements: In my course this year, companies have started coming to college for recruitment. I am from the B.Com (Hons) course, and in this, the highest offered package is 5 LPA-6 LPA, which is offered by the top recruiting company of this college, BSR & Co. LLP. They offered audit-based analyst jobs to the students. Around 8-10 percent of students from our college got recruited into it.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in the college. Network accessibility is poor. Classrooms are not well-maintained. The whitewash is of poor quality, due to which our clothes get dirty if we ever touch the walls. Canteen food is average. There is no common ground inside the premises. Only a sports ground is there outside the college, which only can be accessed by sports teams.
Faculty: Teachers are quite nice. All the teachers of the commerce department are really educated and mostly senior professors with a minimum of 20-25 years of teaching experience. They help the students a lot and solve every doubt. The course of B.Com (Hons) is quite relevant. It gives all the information about the things required in the industry, but I feel there should be some practical classes to give all the written knowledge a practical life experience.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in finance and accounting, and for it I feel B.Com (Hons) is a perfect course. It contains all the accounting and investment knowledge. The college is so dry. There is rarely any event conducted in college by central union.

My college - Mata Sundri College for Women.
Placements: I really don't know much about placements because I'm still in my second year, and I haven't gotten a placement yet, so I don't have much information about it. As far as I know from my seniors and friends, it shows that the college placements are too good. They are helpful in building your CV more strongly and provide great exposure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Mata Sundri College for Women is really good. It is under development to make sure the environment is good and helpful for students to foster more interest in college. From the medical room to the canteen to chilling areas, everything is just to good.
Faculty: The exam and course curriculum are very nice because of the teachers. They provide quality education and really informative topics to help us students. College students gain more education and exposure to the theoretical and practical topics.

Really good infrastructure and amazing faculty .
Placements: So many companies come into the campus like DE Shaw, Rapid, Uniqlo, and many more. The highest placement package is around 24 LPA. Analyst, sales executive, executive, etc., roles are there. The average package is around 11 LPA, and mostly B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing, as it is the NIRF 1 college of India, so you can say that you will get a nice infrastructure. Personally, I love the girls' hostel. Being a hosteler, the girls' hostel is not a government body, so it's as pricey as PGs, but yes, you will get all the facilities.
Faculty: The faculty of my course is amazing. They give their best, they are amazing. Teaching quality is nice. Semester exams have moderate level difficulty, and according to me, the curriculum is relevant to a certain extent. Also, there is a wide availability of courses in Hindu College..

Satisfied with faculty, Infrastructure is mid. Placement is fine.
Placements: As for placement, I have heard the college, the highest placement is competitive with north campus colleges, but the ratio of students who get placement is comparatively lower than those. Placement cell of the college is active as well. Last year the highest placement is like 36 LPA, and as for average it will be 6 to 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. Like, there is no air conditioning in the class and the ,walls have some scribbles as well, but overall it depends upon the student and teacher so it doesn't matter too much. Still, it is not top-notch. But as for a South Campus college, it is fine.
Faculty: Faculty is good except a few, but all the professors are good at teaching, give minimal assignments, and do fair internals. Sometimes the syllabus isn't completed, but it is manageable as students study before the exams anyways. Although it is also between good and passable.
    Other: Na.

Good placement cell. Infrastructure could use some work.
Placements: One of the top placement cell of DU. It is awarded 3rd position by The Delhi College Awards conducted by The Education Tree. Regular recruiters include KPMG INDIA, EY INDIA, Deloitte, PwC, NIIT Ltd, KEN RESEARCH, S&P Global, The Oberoi Group, Wipro, Tresvista, GERC, Grant Thornton, Apeiron HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, EY Global, NIIT, Genpact Enterprise Risk Consulting, Genpact, Invest Mango, TCS, Indigo, and FIS Global etc. The highest package offered to our students has been 18 LPA. Moreover, 110+ reputed companies hire around 300+ interns from the college every year with a stipend as high as 50,000 Rupees. The cell is also chosen by Brown University, USA, to conduct research regarding placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is kind of old. It could use some upgrade. The buildings, I mean; even the benches in some classes. Library is good. Wi-Fi works fine. Labs are okay too. College does not have a hostel; you'll have to look for PGs nearby. Mostly students live in PGs in South Extension.
Faculty: Some teachers are really nice, and some are very rude and pick arguments unnecessarily. Teaching is same as the teachers. Some teach very nicely and some don't. The course curriculum is relevant as you see the subjects of B.Com are there in some professional courses. The exams are not that difficult if you study properly, passing percentage would be around 90.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to go in the commerce field and the course I wanna do is related to the one I'm doing now. The best thing about my course is that it's practical and is not a waste of time. I just wish some teachers were better in my faculty, and the buildings and classes definitely need some work done (morning college only). We don't really have big fests here. There's one fest, Pridarshini, but it's okay, not like the other DU fests. Other events don't take place.

    A:

Q: Β  Is DU admission open?
    A:

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

Q: Β  How is the overall infrastructure of the college?
    A:
Here's my answer based on the given reviews:

    1. The college's infrastructure is considered reasonable and adequate, with some reviewers mentioning that it is neither too good nor too bad.
    2. Some reviewers praise the comfort and quality of the seats, as well as the availability of air conditioned classrooms and labs.
    3. The new classrooms are appreciated by some reviewers, who also mention that the library is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi.
    4. While some reviewers find the library to be good, others express mixed opinions about its usefulness.
    5. Reviewers generally positively describe the campus size, facilities such as Wi-Fi and the canteen, as well as the presence of separate departments for different courses.
    6. Medical facilities and hostels are also available and the college hosts annual sports events and inter-college competitions.

Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be decent and well-maintained, with some areas standing out as particularly impressive, such as the new classrooms and the fully air-conditioned library.
Q: Β  Can I take admission for BCom at DU with 83 per cent?
    A:
For admission in Delhi University for BCom, candidates have to follow the process laid down by the University which is to register for the CUET. Delhi University accept applications for UG programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and final admission depends on the previous Class 12 scores and the score obtained by students in CUET.
After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university.
Now, while the process of the university has changed, the competitiveness of the colleges allocated to the students under DU have not. Hence, it can  be considered that getting into a BCom college under DU for a General category student with 83 percent will be equally tough in 2024 as it was earlier. However, students with excellent CUET scores might stand a chance.

Q: Β  Is CUET fee revised?
    A:

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on CUET 2026 notification PDF.
