IIT Guwahati offers admission to the Dual Degree (MTech+PhD) programme basis the entrance exam scores. Candidates seeking admission to the Dual Degree programme must have the following eligibility:

-BTech from an IIT with a minimum of 8.0 CPI (GATE score not required), Or

-BE/BTech in any discipline other than CSE/ IT or equivalent with a minimum of 70% aggregate or 7.5 CPI + GATE score, Or
-BTech from an IIT with 7.0 CPI but not more than 8.0 CPI + GATE score

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) offers courses at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate Ph.D level to aspirants. Programmes on offer at IISc Bangalore are in streams such as Science, Design, Engineering and Management.
