Students have to start considering other options in their careers and start devoting their time to other activities rather than thinking about that one particular bad exam. Spend some time with your family and friends and absorb the essence of the atmosphere.

First of all, you should understand that an exam is just a part of your life, it is not your whole life or the only goal of your life. You should understand the importance of other things in your life and surroundings. When your exam doesn’t go well, it is a very bad and unpleasant feeling for every student and everyone has faced that once in their life.

Here are some things in this article you should do or avoid after your exam goes bad.

Don’t panic

After any exam, almost everyone knows whether they performed well or not. Similarly, when you come out of the exam hall after giving your JEE exam you would have an idea of how well you attempted it. If your exam doesn’t go well, you should be calm and sit quietly all alone or with your trusted person. You will have to stop thinking about your exam over and over again because it will fill you with negativity and spoil your mood. You have to understand that it is just one exam in your educational career; it is not your whole life.

Spend some time with others

Students consider spending all day alone rather than spending it with their family members. But your parents are the best people that can understand you and guide you in the right direction. Your friends are more likely to distract you from your goal because they are also the same age with very less experience as compared to your parents.

Focus on other options

You will definitely feel bad about your exam but you should start moving on and consider other options that you have in your life. Spend some time all alone and recreate your strategy about the other exams. Plan your preparation according to the other options.

What should a student do next?

Being a student, everyone wants to succeed in every exam because they prepared for it. But sometimes things don't go well due to many reasons. Some students understand that exams are just a part of an educational career while some students don't bear their failure, they just start hating their lives or just don’t want to go further.

Every student has to understand that failure and success are not fixed. Everyone has to face both in their life. But the one who can handle both tends to have a great future.

Students have to start considering other options in their careers and start devoting their time to other activities rather than thinking about that one particular bad exam. Spend some time with your family and friends and absorb the essence of the atmosphere.

My mental and emotional state after I did not succeed

Let me tell you first that there are many times that I have faced failure due to my own reasons. Sometimes due to lack of preparation and sometimes due to lack of focus but every time I had a thought in my mind that this is not the end of my career or my life. It is just a phase that will easily pass out in a few days and then I’ll start focusing on other things.

Yes, my mental state will always get disturbed after the bad exam because it is very normal for everyone. After spending some time alone I start talking to other people about their perspective towards life and what they tend to do because it deviates my mind from the negative thoughts.

I consider my family first to encourage me emotionally because they are the ones that have all the knowledge about most of the situations that we are facing right now. They have a lot of experience and I simply use their experience in my life to come out of bad situations.

So, in the end, I’ll just say that try to forget about that exam and start focusing on your life.
