Candidates can check SMAT 2026 result by following the below process:
- Visit IISM - International Institute of Sports Management website
- Search ‘SMAT’ or click here: https://www.iismworld.com/smat/
- Click on the ‘SMAT’ result tab
- Select your course
- Login with application ID and password
- Result will be displayed

SMAT fee is INR 1,800. Candidates have to pay it in online mode at the time of application submission. For every attempt, candidates need to register afresh and pay the application fee. Candidates must also note that the fee is non refundable.
Yes, SMAT is a mandatory entrance test. Master of Sports Management, PGP in Sports and Wellness Management & PGP in Sports Event Management aspirants can apply with their MAH-CET scores. Such candidates will not have to appear for SMAT.

Candidates who have a keen interest in Sports Management can apply for SMAT. Minimum eligibility criteria is:
- UG courses: Class 12 pass with at least 40% or equivalent.
- PG courses: Graduation with a minimum of 40% in all subjects.
SMAT is conducted multiple times in a year. It is conducted every month and the monthly schedule is released at IISM website. Candidates can choose to appear for SMAT in the month of their choice and when they are completely prepared for the test.

SMAT application forms are released online at the IISM website. Candidates need to fill the application form by registering on the IISM website and creating a login ID. Since, the SMAT is conducted every month, the registration window also opens every month for that particular exam session. Currently, the registration window for February phase exam is open. IISM offers Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Master’s Degree in Sports Management, Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management, Bachelor’s of Sports Science and Master’s of Sports Science.
SMAT 2026: Selection Criteria
The selection criteria or IISM courses will be based on the following merits:
- SMAT 2026 (caselets & overall performance) will cover academic score, sports achievements and ECA for 100 marks.
- Candidate needs to have scored atleast 50 per cent in Stage 1 to qualify for Stage 2.
- Stage 2 comprises PI, which will be on 120 marks.
- The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60 per cent (Stage 1 & 2) to secure admission
If any candidate would be securing admissions before their final results for HSC/Graduation would be out, their admission would be considered provisional. Their admission will be confirmed only after submission of their final passing exam document.

SNAP is an 80 minute test having 80 questions in MCQ format. Every questions carries 1 mark. Check below table for sectional break up:

If you have not studied Maths in class 12, you need not worry about it. SMAT has very basic level of questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Mensuration. You can revise these topics to prepare for the exam and that'll be enough.

SMAT syllabus is not difficult. It includes regular aptitude related subjects like Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability. These subjects are common to other entrance exams too.
