Each correct answer in the BITSAT 2016 would fetch the aspirant a total of 3 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark would be deducted. BITSAT is the only exam where an aspirant gets the chance of scoring more than 100 marks in the paper. For this, aspirants need to solve 12 extra questions if they are left with some time at the end after attempting all the other 150 questions.

Speaking to Shiksha.com, a lot of students shared that BITSAT 2016 was pretty tough. Infact, some of them informed that the exam was tougher than JEE Main 2016.

Divansh, a student of DPS Noida said, “If I have to compare all the exam engineering exams that I have taken till date, this one if the toughest. I found JEE Mains easier than this. The paper was not lengthy but you could only solve the questions if you were clear with your basics. I scored 240 in the exam. There were no surprises in the paper. Maths, as usual, was the toughest, followed by Physics and Chemistry. There were no glitches in the exam. It was pretty smooth”.  Students are able to check their BITSAT 2016 scores as soon as the exam gets over.

Reiterating the same thoughts, another engineering aspirant, Mallika from Vishwa Bharti School, Noida said, “Maths was very tough for me. You know, it was more about how you manage your time between sections. The exam was not lengthy but you were required to be quick in solving the questions. There were no surprises in the exam but I think BITSAT 2016 was tougher than JEE Mains this year. I scored 240”.

Take a look at what other BITSAT 2016 said about the exam.

Karthik, Kendra Vidyalaya, Noida:

The exam was quite easy. I scored about 280 in the exam. I found chemistry to be the toughest, followed by Physics and Maths. There were no glitches as such in the exam.Actually, more than engineering, I am interested in Hotel Management. Infact, I am taking one of the hotel management exams today itself. I appeared for the exam because my parents wanted me to. However, they supported me to opt for hotel management was well seeing my inclination towards the field.

Ayush Srivastava, SD Vidya School Noida:

I found the paper to be tough. Physics was the toughest while Chemistry was the easiest and Maths was of moderate level. Even though the paper was not lengthy, it required a lot of time management. I scored 280 in BITSAT 2016.

Lakshya, DPS, Vasundhra

The exam was of moderate level and I found Maths to be extremely tough, though, Chemistry and Physics were of moderate level. There were no glitches in the exam; however, I felt that in Physics, there were more number of questions from the topics Wave and SHN. I expected around 1-2 questions from these topic but there were around 3-4 questions the same.

Uday, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Noida

The exam was fine. Like always, Maths was tough followed by Physics and Chemistry. There were a total of 150 questions to be solved in three hours. The exam was not at all lengthy. Unlike JEE Mains, this exam did not have glitches. In Chemistry, I feel that there were more questions from the topics – Thermodynamics and Equilibrium.

Aakash, Amity International Noida:

The paper was good and could be easily solved by anyone who was well prepared. I wasn’t. I scored 120 in the exam. In Physics and Maths combined, I was able to solve 30 put of 85 questions, while in Chemistry, I attempted 30 out of 40 questions. In English and LR, I solves 22 out of 25 questions.
