Each correct answer in the BITSAT 2016 would fetch the aspirant a total of 3 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark would be deducted. BITSAT is the only exam where an aspirant gets the chance of scoring more than 100 marks in the paper. For this, aspirants need to solve 12 extra questions if they are left with some time at the end after attempting all the other 150 questions.
Speaking to Shiksha.com, a lot of students shared that BITSAT 2016 was pretty tough. Infact, some of them informed that the exam was tougher than JEE Main 2016.
Divansh, a student of DPS Noida said, “If I have to compare all the exam engineering exams that I have taken till date, this one if the toughest. I found JEE Mains easier than this. The paper was not lengthy but you could only solve the questions if you were clear with your basics. I scored 240 in the exam. There were no surprises in the paper. Maths, as usual, was the toughest, followed by Physics and Chemistry. There were no glitches in the exam. It was pretty smooth”. Students are able to check their BITSAT 2016 scores as soon as the exam gets over.
Reiterating the same thoughts, another engineering aspirant, Mallika from Vishwa Bharti School, Noida said, “Maths was very tough for me. You know, it was more about how you manage your time between sections. The exam was not lengthy but you were required to be quick in solving the questions. There were no surprises in the exam but I think BITSAT 2016 was tougher than JEE Mains this year. I scored 240”.
