BITSAT 2020 exam to be conducted tomorrow. Know what guidelines candidates have to follow to appear in the exam.
BITSAT 2020: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is going to conduct the BITSAT 2020 exam from tomorrow i.e. September 16. BITSAT is a computer-based (online) exam to be conducted on September 16 to 18 and 21 to 23.
The 3-hour exam will have 150 multiple choice questions spread over the four sections of the exam: Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology. BITSAT 2020 admit card was released by the authorities on September 13 and candidates can download it till the September 23 (1:00 pm). On the exam day, candidates will be required to follow the guidelines as mentioned below.

BITSAT 2020 Exam Day Guidelines
All the students going to appear for the exam must strictly follow the below guidelines:
- All candidates must report to their BITSAT exam centres one and a half hours before the exam time.
- Gates will be closed for entry 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.
- Candidates must bring the print out of their BITSAT 2020 admit card and valid photo ID proof to the exam centres.
- All candidates must carry the duly signed self-declaration form released with the BITSAT hall ticket to the exam centres.
- All candidates must carry face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer (50 ml) and transparent water bottle with them.
- Thermal scanning of the candidates will be done at the entry.
Things to carry at BITSAT exam centre 2020
Students will be allowed to carry the following things along with them to the exam centres:
- Mask
- Gloves
- Personal hand sanitizer (50ml)
- Transparent water Bottle
- Simple pen
- Exam related documents (Admit Card, ID card, etc.)
- Self-declaration form
BITSAT 2020 exam day: Important instructions for candidates
- Candidates must maintain social distance within the exam venue.
- Along with the aforementioned items, candidates must also bring simple pen BITSAT 2020 Admit Card and a valid ID Card.
- Candidates must also take the print out of the self-declaration given with the BITSAT hall ticket. They must sign it and carry it to the centre as entry to the centre will not be allowed without it.
- Candidates having COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter into the BITSAT 2020 exam venue.
- The entry of the candidates will be given as per time slot given through SMS to maintain social distancing at the BITSAT exam centre.
- Candidate’s temperature will be checked with a Thermo Gun at the entry to the exam venue. Candidates whose temperature is within the permissible limits will be allowed to appear for the exam.
- The seating plan will not be displayed outside the exam venue. It will be provided to the candidates individually at the time of entry after verification of Admit Card and ID proof.
- At the registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using sanitizer provided at the desk.
- The photograph will be captured during the registration for the purpose of authentication later during the admission process.

Aspirants with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 can only apply for BE Environmental & Sustainability and BPharm courses of BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus. For all other BE specialisations, PCM is required. Aspirants must pass BITSAT for admission in BE and BPharm courses.
