Aspiring for BITSAT 2020? Read the article below to know important details about BITSAT 2020 result and scorecard.

Candidates will be able to check the BITSAT 2020 result immediately after the exam will be over. BITS, Pilani exam, the exam conducting authority, will announce the result in online mode only. No other mode will be available to access the BITSAT 2020 scorecard. No hard copy of the result/scorecard will be sent to the candidates by post or any other means.

BITSAT 2020 result/scorecard will be an important document for candidates and it must be preserved till the admission procedure. Candidates will able to check their marks scored in the examination through BITSAT 2020 result.

BITS Admission Test is organized by the BITS, Pilani campus. It is a university level entrance exam which is conducted every year. Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani offers admission to the various degree programmes in the field of Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management, and Humanities. BITSAT 2020 Result

BITSAT is a computer-based test that will be conducted from May 16-25, 2020. As the BITSAT will be conducted on different dates, the result will be declared as per the exam dates immediately after the exam will be over. Candidates will be able to check their BITSAT 2020 results online. The candidates selected for the admission will be intimated through the merit list.

How to Check BITSAT 2020 Result

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download the BITSAT 2020 result/scorecard.

  • Visit the official website
  • Enter your application number and password in the login window and click on proceed
  • The result will be opened in a new window
  • Check the result and download it
  • Take the printout of BITSAT 2020 result/scorecard for further process

BITSAT 2020 Score Card

The exam conducting authority will provide the BITSAT 2020 scorecard to all the candidates after the commencement of the exam. The scorecard will contain the aggregate marks and marks in every subject scored by the candidate in the entrance examination. Marks obtained by candidates, the number of total correct and incorrect answers will be generated just after the completion of the computer-based test. Candidates can print the scorecard after completion of all the exams.

BITSAT Merit List 2020

The exam conducting authority will assign the ranks based on marks obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT 2020. If two candidates will score the same marks, then tie-breaking will be considered.

Procedure for Tie-Breaking of Scores

There may be situations when one or more candidates will get the same scores. In such cases, the authorities will apply the tie-breaking method. The authorities will use the following criteria in a similar order to break ties.

  • Those candidates who secure higher scores in Mathematics/Biology will be ranked higher
  • If the tie still exists, those candidates who scored higher in Physics will be given preference
  • However, if the tie still does not break, the authorities will give preference to those candidates who scored higher in Chemistry
  • Finally, if the tie still fails to break, PCB/PCM marks obtained in 12 class will be considered

Aspirants with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 can only apply for BE Environmental & Sustainability and BPharm courses of BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus. For all other BE specialisations, PCM is required. Aspirants must pass BITSAT for admission in BE and BPharm courses.

To get admission to the BE course at the BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, students are required to appear in BITSAT. As per previous years' cutoff stats, it has been analysed that the minimum scores are between 230 and 250. But with 250 marks, the chances are less of getting selected.
