BITS Pilani will announce the final BITSAT 2021 result in form of a waitlist and admit list within two weeks after the exam. Read below to know relevant details.

BITSAT result will be declared in two steps. Firstly the score of every candidate will be declared immediately after the exam gets over. The score will include the number of correct answers, incorrect answers and total marks obtained by the candidate. Secondly, the BITSAT result 2021 will be announced by the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) in iteration, which will comprise the waitlist and admit list.

Students will be able to download their scorecards by entering the required login credentials on the website i.e. bitsadmission.com. Candidates with their names in the admission list will be allotted seats in the participating institutes while the waitlist candidates have to check their status in the next iteration round.

BITSAT Merit List 2021

Candidates who will obtain the minimum marks or cutoff set by the authorities in BITSAT 2021 will be considered for the merit list for admission. The exam conducting authority will prepare the separate merit lists for admission. One list will be for all the programmes except BPharma and the other one for BPharma candidates only. Other than this, BITS Pilani will release a BITSAT 2021 admit list and waitlist.

BITSAT 2021 Admit List: Admit List will contain the name of the candidates who have cleared the minimum cut off criteria. Candidates with their names on BITSAT admit list will be called to participate in BITSAT 2021 Counselling

BITSAT 2021 Wait List: The waitlist will contain the names of all those qualified candidates who will be called in case of seats remain vacant after counselling of all the candidates in the admit list. Sometimes candidates drop their names from the admission process. In those cases, preference will be given to candidates on the waitlist as per their ranks.

BITSAT 2021 Result: Tie-Breaker Criteria

The admissions offered at BITS campuses for various courses will be based on the merit list/marks obtained by the candidates in BITSAT. Other than that, candidates also need to meet the eligibility criteria related to minimum marks to be obtained in the Class 12 board exam or equivalent. Tie-breaker rules will be applicable when two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score. The rules are:

• In case of a tie, BITSAT 2021 Scores of a candidate in Mathematics/Biology (for BPharma) subject will be considered first for preparing the merit list
• If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the BITSAT Physics section will be considered for preparing the merit list.
• If the tie still exists then the BITSAT score of candidates in the Chemistry section will be taken into consideration.
• If the tie still exists then the total marks of candidates obtained in the Class 12 examination in PCM/PCB will be taken into consideration.
