GATE Qualifying Cutoff: It is minimum mark a candidate must score so that he or she is eligible for admission. But this does not mean that a candidate is selected for admission. Admission GATE Cutoffs: It is final opening and closing rank score fixed by participating institutes for selection of candidates. The exam-conducting authority (IIT Roorkee) will decide the GATE cutoff 2025. It is conducted across the country jointly by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, and the Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore), on a rotational basis on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB-GATE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISC Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the MTech programmes. For the General AII India category candidates, the round 1 closing rank ranged between 350 and 665, among which Mechanical Engineering is the most competitive specialisation. For OBC category, the round 1closing rank is 624 for the same specialisation.
