GATE 2027 Registration Date: IIT Madras will announce the release date for GATE MTech application form. The mode of application form is online and available for 30 subject papers. Students who want to apply for GATE exam must stay alert, so that they do not miss out any dates. As per the GATE admission trends, registrations for GATE paper usually starts in August, and continues till October (without late fee).

If a candidate is applying for GATE two-paper combination, then he/she has to pay an additional amount. Such applicants will have to pay twice of above-mentioned fees. Candidates are advised to go through instructions and eligibility carefully before filling the application form.
Commonly asked questions
A GATE score of 500 can be roughly around 40 to 50 raw scores out of 100 marks. However, it can vary depending for each engineering discipline. For example, for CSE it can be around 45 to 56 marks, for mechanical engineering it can correspond around 46 - 55, and for ECE it can roughly correspond around 50 to 60 marks depending on the paper difficulty level.
GATE enrollment ID is different for each candidate. The identification number is generated after registration. Candidates can use enrollment ID to login and accesss at GOAPS portal. It must be kept safe to perform all GATE-related activities.
GATE enrollment ID is created at time of registration. It is a login credential. GATE registration is roll number given to students. The registration number is printed on hall ticket.
