JEE Main February 2021 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delayed the result of the JEE Main session conducted from February 23 to 26. The result was expected to be declared on March 7 but as it is delayed, NTA may announce it anytime soon today i.e. March 8

With the JEE Main 2021 result, the NTA would also release the score or percentile rank for the candidates for the session. The NTA has already released the Final JEE Main 2021 answer key, response sheet, and question paper for the February session of the exam. With the provisional JEE Main answer key released on March 2, candidates were allowed to raise objections against the answers until March 3.

Steps to check February session JEE Main 2021 result

Students can go through the steps below to check their JEE Main 2021 February result:

Step-1: Visit any of the official site i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in

Step-2: On the homepage, click on JEE Main February 2021 result (yet to be activated)

Step-3: A login page will appear, enter login credentials

Step-4: JEE Main Result 2021 will appear, download and take multiple printouts of it

The JEE Main Feb 2021 result will be declared on the official websites:  jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Since the exam is held in multiple shifts over several days, the NTA uses normalisation for the calculation of students’ JEE Main score/percentile. The normalised percentile score is the relative performance of all the aspirants who appeared in the examination. The marks secured by the examinees in the exam are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

JEE Main February 2021 result: Key things to know

Know important points related to JEE Main 2021 result below:

  • It is likely that only six (6) candidates would be given 100 percentile rank based on the performance
  • JEE Main All India Ranks (AIRs) will be announced along with the final result to be announced after the May session.
  • NTA will announce the cut off for JEE Advanced 2021 only after the final result of JEE Main 2021, which is expected in June.

A total of 6,61,776 students had registered to appear for the JEE Main February attempt. About 95 per cent of registered candidates appeared for paper-1 (BE/BTech) and 81.2 per cent of those who register for BArch and BPlaning exams had attended JEE Main. Further, about 95 per of students were allotted their first choice of centre and city, the NTA informed in an official statement.

NTA has concluded the JEE Main 2021 registration for March. Similarly, application forms will be released for April, and May sessions a few days ahead of the exam. JEE Main admit card for the March session will be released very soon by the authority.
