It is possible for you to secure a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology), although it may not guarantee your preferred branch or institute. Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission

However, with a 92 percentile, you can still expect to gain admission to several NITs that have slightly lower cutoffs such as NIT Agartala, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Srinagar, and other newer or mid-tier NITs. With 3 Lacs CRL and 11k OBC-NCL rank, chances in JoSAA are low for top branches. But don't skip counseling. Try filling all NITs, IIITs, and even lower branches. Also check CSAB special rounds later. You might still get a seat if some colleges have vacant spots.
