Candidates must note that JoSAA IIT Civil Engineering 2023 cutoff varies as per the institute. Applicants have to secure marks equal to or more than the IIT CE cutoff to secure admission in preferred IIT. It is possible for you to secure a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology), although it may not guarantee your preferred branch or institute. If your percentile is above 96, your chances of getting into a respectable NIT increases, but you may need to compromise on your branch selection. However, if you aim for a decent NIT with a preferred branch in the core field, you would need to score above 97.5%. On the other hand, if your goal is to get admission to a top college with the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) branch, your score would need to be higher than 99.4%.

There are 23 IITs in India offering admissions to various engineering courses. Admissions to IITs are offered on the basis of JEE Advanced score. The top 2.5 lakh candidates shortlisted on the basis of JEE Main exam eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam. Applicants can check JoSAA IIT seat matrix from the table given below.

JEE Advanced Result 2023
Indian Institute of Technology. Guwahati released the JEE Advanced 2023 result on June 18. Applicants who appeared in the exam can check their JEE Advanced results at jeeadv.ac.in. The login credentials required to check JEE Advanced result are 9-digit roll number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, and the 10-digit phone number. Candidates declared qualified on the basis of result are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

- Candidates should have JEE Advanced rank
- Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam
- Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class 12

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admission

The JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling dates will be made available on the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in. Usually, the JoSAA counselling registration starts a day after the JEE Advanced result is anniunced. Complete schedule will be available on the official website.

No, one does not have to apply separately at IIT Madras website after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for docume

Candidates who qualified for JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced can participate in JoSAA 2025. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment results will be released in online mode after every round. Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, and availability of seats. After the declaration of the seat allotment results, JoSAA releases cutoffs separately for every round. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 cutoffs on the official website at josaa.nic.in.
