If given a chance, I would like to be a part of the management team of the college fest, says Devansh Baid

I didn't study continuously for six to seven hours straight. I just paid attention in classes and focused on understanding the concept of the chapters. The key is to get the concepts clear, and then practice as much as possible.

I opted for the Science stream for my higher secondary education, as I was inclined towards Physics and Mathematics. For a student who is thinking to pursue Science in class XI-XII, Kota was the best option, as it has the best resources for students. 

After my higher secondary education, I took coaching in Vibrant Academy to crack various entrance examinations. There, I just paid attention in classes and focused on understanding the concept of the chapters. The key is to get the concepts clear, and then practice as much as possible. 

I filled all the forms for Engineering that were available including JEE Mains, COMEDK, NMIMS, VIT, BITSAT, WBJEE, and many more. But, my rank in VITEEE was great, and after that, I didn't pay much attention to any of the exams. For my higher education, I didn't want to be a bookworm and study continuously for six to seven hours straight. Instead, I wanted a college that could provide the best in every field. Therefore, I thought VIT would be my best choice to pursue Computer Science Engineering, as it provided all the co-curricular activities a person can think of. Moreover, the college has an excellent academic record which can be proved by the placements. The college has approximately fifty to sixty clubs, where a student can develop technical skills and have fun at the same time. 

 A plethora of extra-curricular activities in my college, like swimming, cricket, football, basketball, and gym have improved my personality. There are many clubs in our college, and as of now, I am a part of the technical club, music society, and debate club, and I am still open to take up different roles in other societies and clubs at the institute. I would like to join the dance club, as VIT has one of the best dance groups in the south zone. 

The college conducts two fests, a technical fest called Gravitas, and a cultural fest, which is known as Riviera. The various experience and events at the college have improved my overall leadership skills, communication skills, organizational skills, and coordination skills. Therefore, if given a chance, I would like to be a part of the management team of the college fest.

Experience plays a vital role in one's personality. It helps us in ways we can’t even imagine. It made me independent, as I stay away from my family. The college has taught me that friends are an integral part of our lives. I understood the value of friendship. Overall, it has been a great learning experience till now, and I hope it continues the same way.
