To begin with, don’t get upset if your JEE Main score is low or below your expectations. I know it's not that easy to forget or to move out of failure, but taking tension is not the right solution. Getting worries will only harm your physical and mental health. So, it’s better to keep your failures aside and think about the future steps you are going to take. Keep on moving with a positive attitude and you will succeed.
So, what is it that you should do next?
First, think about how you are going to overcome this situation, in which you are stuck. Ignore what society or your relatives think about it. Ignore demotivating questions and uninspiring people, too.
Explore colleges based on JEE Main
Next step is to think positive, it's not the end of everything. You can still have other options.
One common thing that we all do is we never accept failure. We always give excuses. Don’t do that. I would recommend you to face your failures completely, investigate where you went wrong and take the necessary measures to correct it if you want to succeed. By accepting this, you will not only succeed but will also learn from your mistakes and get admission to some of them in most prestigious colleges for JEE.
Option 1: What you can do is if you are confident enough then surely give another chance, to correct yourself and to get a good college when you have decided to give re-examination. Most important thing is to learn from your mistakes. You can always give a second attempt and try next year with all your hard work and efforts you can score really well as now you have enough time to plan.
You can follow these steps, too:
- Revise the complete syllabus beforehand
- Cover all the important topics first and then the remaining topics
- Always solve as many mock tests as you can
- Be calm and relax before the exam
- Rectify your mistakes done in the past
- Take coaching and refer to your notes
So, dropping a year can give you another chance to decide.
Option 2: The second option when you are not confident about scoring well in the second attempt and waste a whole year, is to start looking for the colleges you could get into with your existing score. Don’t lose hope as you still have other good colleges to have a lookout for. You can choose the college by its features, including placements, fees, specialisations offered, among others.
Option 3: Next option is for those students who are not confident and are confused between both the options. What you can do is you can attend a counseling session which will help you to clear your doubts, it will clear your each and every concept and will let you know advantage and disadvantage of each and every option. Always take learning throughout your life and keep on moving.
So now you have to think of each and every option and choose the right one. However, the decision is totally yours but always keep yourself motivated.
