With less than a week left for JEE Main 2020, you must be in a rigorous revision mode. Here are certain things you can now keep in mind and abide by in these last few days to the JEE Main 2020 exam.
Last week tips & tricks
- It is beneficial to have a maximum of eight hours of sleep in the last week to JEE Main 2020.
- While studying make a habit to take a break of 10 minutes every 1 hour.
- It is better to avoid studying late night as the mind becomes restless.
- The best time to study is 4-6 am.
- Also, if you want to memorise something, study it before going to bed and when you wake up again study it. This will provide to be very helpful.
- Revise perfectly all the important topics from the exam point of view.
- Try not to start any new topic before a week as it needs an ample amount of time to be understood.
- There are certain test papers Go through them.
- Have a habit of making short notes or bullet points so that it saves a lot of time.
- Do yoga and other breathing exercises to keep your mind calm and stress-
- Eat healthy food and spend some free time listening to music.
- Avoid all the distracting things so that you focus more on your studies.
- Have a balanced time schedule for everything so that you are not frustrated.
- Spend some time to play outdoor games.
Tips on time management
- Make bullet points and short notes to save your time.
- Watching videos for the difficult topics on youtube also saves a lot of time rather than studying it from books.
- Prepare and maintain a well-planned schedule for study purposes and other activities.
- Avoid spending too much time behind checking for every notification on your smart gadgets.
- Study all the topics which are lee time-consuming.
Dos and Don’ts of JEE Main
- In Phase-I, perform all the easy questions for which you are confident and is not much time consuming i.e. 1.5 minutes for each question.
- In Phase-II, go for the questions that are time-consuming and you are not so sure about them taking three minutes out for each question.
- In Phase-III, appear for the most difficult questions which might take 5 minutes or even more than that.

Time to revise
- Revise all the important topics that are mentioned above before you appear for the exam.
- Theory part should be done properly as mostly question paper is being covered from it.
- Formulae should be on your fingertips along with the roots, squares, logarithms values for numerical.
- Have a habit of solving previous year questions and several mock test papers.
- Time management is very important for every topic of every subject.
- Carefully revise the important topics and all the formulae’s a week ago and clear all the doubts as early as possible.

Yes, the admissions in BTech at BRCM CET are based on JEE Main merit ranks. Students have to register for counseling at HSTES official website. The cutoffs for BTech admissions in the institute are not available as per official sources. However, according to data present on Shiksha page the 2025 closing rank for CSE branch was 1202618. Additionally, the JEE Main closing rank for Civil Engineering was 871976. Students can check official HSTE

Yes, JEE Mains has been listed as an accepted entrance exam for MIT Academy of Engineering BTech admission. The institute has also listed MHT-CET as its accepted entrance exam. Thus, candidates with a JEE Mains score can apply directly without appearing for MHT-CET.

Guru Nanak Institute of Technology accepts JEE Main scores for admission in BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with WBJEE or CE-AMPAI scores can also get admission in BTech provided they also meet the eligibility criteria.
