Maintaining notes is a must during preparation and always tries to keep a revision notebook as it can be really helpful for brushing up the last moment topics. Make a timetable that suits you the best rather than following someone else’s. You can obviously take ideas from the timetables of the toppers but finally, you have to decide what suits you the best.
The last week is crucial in the entire JEE Mains preparation. The most important thing in the last week is not to get stressed and panic and also, not get too relaxed or chilled out. So, it’s more about self-control and patience. Don’t do anything stupid that can hamper your preparation and all the hard work that you have been through.
Explore colleges based on JEE Main
Never try to learn anything new in the last week, by a new thing I mean an entirely new concept. Whatever you have done in the previous year, just focus more on that. Revision is a must, try to revise the typical topics, e.g. in chemistry, there are certain topics that you need to memorise, there is no need to dig into concepts at the last moment. Just maintain a notebook where you keep on writing the formulas as soon as you come across one.
Give mock tests but now, keep the level of tests a bit tougher because the original exam paper will every time contain a new set of questions but, in relation to some older questions so be ready to be creative. The last day before the exam, be relaxed, chill out, watch favourite shows, not for much time though and avoid going on a ride or outside.
How to manage time?
Always start the exam by choosing your best topic in whichever you perform best. I will suggest that you should start with chemistry because it is the section which needs the least calculation time. Only the physical chemistry part has some questions which would need lengthy calculation, the rest part is mostly logical and directly approachable so try to finish chemistry in 40 minutes maximum, if you want to score well. Give the most of your time on the other two sections because mathematics and physics are the two sections that will differentiate you from others and help you in getting a good rank.
Which are scoring topics?
Most scoring topics according to me are co-ordinating geometry (straight lines, circle), kinematics, Electrochemistry, algebra, solid states and physical chemistry. Some of the above topics such as solid-state could be a bit tricky at some point but if your concepts are clear, these are sure shot questions as well.
What should be the study plan?
Maintaining notes is a must during preparation and always tries to keep a revision notebook as it can be really helpful for brushing up the last moment topics. Make a timetable that suits you the best rather than following someone else’s. You can obviously take ideas from the timetables of the toppers but finally, you have to decide what suits you the best.
How to manage Class 12th and JEE preparation
It is the most hyped topic in JEE preparation. Actually, consider your school time as refreshment time from the concentrated studies. But please, pay attention while you’re at school because by doing so half of your workload will get reduced. Giving importance to school hours will increase your preparation level, every little effort will give strength to your preparation. Give proper time to the other subjects in school, try to finish their assignments and other tasks in the school itself.
