To get a high score of over 300 in JEE Main to try to study and refer the best books recommended by the toppers or by your seniors. Always make hand-written notes and prepare a chart for the formulae’s so that at the peak time you can easily refer to them.
During last month student feels pressurised due to lack of time. Just focus on the important topics and the chapters that carry most of the weightage. Also if possible have handbooks as they provide you with short and crisp content so that during last month it becomes easy to study well. Do a lot of practice in solving numerical and fast calculations. Have short breaks and do not study late nights. Revise all your syllabus properly with a lot of problem practice. Be crystal clear with all your concepts and always be motivated. Also do not get demotivated from others what they say and about their preparation.

Right books to refer to
To score more than 300+, a student should study from the good books and also should have handmade notes so that at the time of the exam they can refer to them easily.
It’s important to refer good books referred by the professors and the coaching institute. Many times student lacks behind because of not being aware of the correct study material or not being aware of the important topics or how should be the notes prepared. Along with preparing from the correct study material the student should also solve the previous year’s question papers and try to solve the sample online test papers.

In Physics, the important thing to focus on formulae’s and the units used. Also one should be clear with the basic concept of the heat and thermodynamics as the twisted questions are asked form this topic. Also, focus on the diagrams that are given or the way we draw to make the question look more understandable. The student should memorise the basic mathematics calculations like the square roots, the certain values, the log values. Also, there are handbooks available for the students that contain short tricks and important values, or the notes to be remembered at the peak time.
To get a high score in Chemistry one should memorise the periodic table elements, the properties and the other chemical properties including the mass, weight, atomic number, arrangement of the atoms. Also, focus more on organic chemistry as it is important from the examination point of view. The most weightage is carried by periodic table elements and Co-ordination Chemistry. The Thermodynamics part should be equally focused and along with the atomic structure. The chemical bonding plays a very major role as it includes the most important questions and concepts from the examination point of view. Many students lack the inorganic part of chemistry which is of the utmost importance. So try to practice the problems based on it from NCERT books. Understand the mole concept properly. Do have a hands-on calculation for balancing the equations for redox reactions. Do practice more for Carbonyl compounds, Alkyl halides, Hydrocarbons and practice them on a regular basis. Do practice numerical for physical chemistry from previous years' question papers.
Math in JEE Main is divided into Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Vector and 3-D Geometry. Most important and focus point is Trigonometry as it contains various subdivisions of concepts. The students should make it a habit of solving daily the questions of trigonometry as they the most time-consuming part of Math. Every year two questions are being asked from the Trigonometry part which is mostly the difficult one. Make revise all the important formulae’s for the Coordinate Geometry from the most reliable source of study material. Permutations and Combinations are the brainstorming part where you have to apply proper logic and should have fast calculations. Always make an overview of the question and then try to put all the things together and apply the formula wisely. Have short tricks in mind for solving the sequences and series questions. Being apart from this Algebra is also important as the Quadratic equations, Complex numbers are an integral part of them.
Study plan
Go through important topics according to the weightage that it carries. Practice for the numerical as much as you can. Make a time schedule for the revision and solving the practice test papers. Bullet points should be prepared for difficult topics and short notes should be made. Have at least seven hours of sleep and have a healthy diet. Revise the basic concepts for every subject so that all the doubts are cleared. Have a habit of taking regular intervals and spending some time playing outdoor games. Revise all the easy and less time-consuming topics and spend the rest of the time for the difficult topics. Follow time management tips and examination structure.
Self-evaluation
Practice all the test papers and the mock papers and try to evaluate yourself. Also, analyse the time spent behind each question. Go through the weightage and solve the numerical. Solve every level of papers i.e. easy, medium and hard. Try to invest less time and have speedy calculations. Solve the sample papers that are available on various sites. Try to focus on the weak areas where you need improvement. Build all your concepts strong and also consume less time behind each question.
