TS ECET 2027 Result: Osmania University will announce the TS ECET result 2027 as a rank card. Students will need their hall ticket & registration number along with date of birth to download the rank card. Candidates can check the result to know their ranks, marks, qualifying status and other details. The authorities will conduct the exam for 200 marks, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer while there is no negative marking.

How is TS ECET Result 2027 Prepared?

Candidates will be ranked (Integrated Merit Rank) based on the marks they have secured in TS ECET.
Please note that requests for re-totalling, revaluation or personal identification of anything related to the online examination will not be entertained.
Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit in TS ECET separately in each branch of the Engineering Course.

For admission to BE/BTech in Information Technology

First preference will be given to candidates who have obtained a diploma in Information Technology.
Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology on the basis of their integrated merit ranking obtained in TS ECET.

For admission into BE / BTech in Computer Science and Engineering

First preference will be given to candidates who have obtained a diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
Any seats still vacant shall be filled with candidates who have obtained their Diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology on the basis of their integrated merit ranking obtained in TS ECET.
The Integrated Merit Rank is based on the total marks obtained in TS ECET by candidates with a Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology.

Tie-Breaking Procedure for TS ECET Result 2027

Engineering

In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Engineering subject, and in case of further tie the marks obtained in the Mathematics subject and if the tie still continues, the marks obtained in physics subject will be taken into account to decide the relative ranking.
In the case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of the award of rank. The age of the candidate will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, with the older candidate being given preference.

Pharmacy

Candidates will be ranked on the basis of merit in TS ECET. In case of a tie, the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration.
On a further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be given priority at the time of admission.

BSc (Mathematics)

Candidates will be ranked based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations.
In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks obtained in Mathematics subject and in case of further tie the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination shall be taken into account to resolve the tie at the time of admission.
On a further tie, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be given priority at the time of admission.

The authorities of Osmania University on behalf of TSCHE will be responsible for the preparation of the TS ECET tie-breaking rules. What After TS ECET Results?

After the TG ECET result is declared qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will conduct the counselling for admission to participating colleges in the state. The TS ECET counselling will involve various stages such as registration, choice-filling, downloading the seat allotment letter, getting the documents verified and reporting to the allotted college. The counselling registration process will be completed after candidates pay the processing fee, fill out the basic information and book the slots for certificate verification.

The allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank in the TS ECET exam, the student's preferences, category and availability of seats. The authority will announce the TS ECET counselling schedule after the declaration of results.

TS ECET Cutoff 2027

The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in TS ECET [FDH & BSc(Mathematics)] is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects [Three subjects for BSc (Mathematics)], i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.

The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the TS ECET [FDH & BSc(Mathematics)] by any candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission.
