The Consortium of NLUs released the CLAT 2027 registration form on its official portal on August 3. Candidates can complete their CLAT 2027 registration and fill the application form till October 31. CLAT 2027 Application Process
The National Law Universities(NLUs) are the premier institutes in the country offering Law courses. The Consortium of NLUs conduct the Common Law Admission Test to select the candidates to take admission in these courses. The Consortium released the official notification on July 22, stating the CLAT registration, application and exam dates. As per the official communication, the CLAT 2027 registrations started on August 3. The candidates can fill their CLAT 2027 registration form and proceed to fill their CLAT application form. The last date to apply online for CLAT 2027 is October 31. The Consortium will soon release the CLAT 2027 application correction dates on its official website. The expected date for CLAT application correction is from November 2 onwards.
As per the official exam calendar, the CLAT 2027 exam date is December 6. Contrary to the current trend of online exams, the CLAT 2027 will be held offline.
Candidates are advised to fill their applications well before the last date to avoid any last-minute technical glitches. The CLAT Application Process 2027 can be completed on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

What's New in CLAT 2027 Application Form?
The candidates should note that this year, they will not be asked to fill their NLU preference order during the initial application process. They will be required to do so during the Counselling registration process. The NLU NIRF Rankings 2026 will be out at that time, which will help the candidates in chosing their NLU.

Fill the Personal & Academic Details
- Re-login using your registered mobile number & password
- Choose the course
- Fill your details like Name, DOB, Parents' name
- Select category
- Enter your communication details
- Fill in your academic details
Select CLAT Test Centres and Reservations
- Select your choice of test centre locations
- Enter your state domicile to claim state reservation
Upload documents
- Candidates will have to upload certain documents in scanned format. Check the list here
- Front-facing passport-size recent photograph with a plain background
- Signature (black/blue ink on white paper)
