National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be releasing NEET PG 2019 application forms in the month of October. According to the past year data, the last round NEET PG closing rank for MD/MS admission at IUL Lucknow ranged between 508 and 8675 in the year 2025. The most difficult branch to get admission to was MD General Medicine and the most-the easiest one was MD Community Medicine.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
