NEET 2020 was conducted in an offline mode. According to the NEET exam pattern, the question paper consisted of 180 MCQ based questions. NEET 2020 Marking Scheme
Candidates must know the marking scheme of NEET 2020 to calculate their marks. NEET 2020 has negative marking system, therefore, candidates must read every step to understand the NEET 2020 marking system.
- Give yourself four marks for every correct answer
- Deduct one mark from the total for every incorrect answer
- For questions left unanswered add zero marks
- For questions where more than one response was marked, deduct one mark from the total
- Such questions will be considered incorrect
- Marks obtained=(Total correct answers x 4) – (Total incorrect answers x 1)

In many cases, yes. Some sources say NEET is not compulsory for BPT in Karnataka. Many private colleges admit students on 12th marks. Government and counselling seats may follow a different process. Rules change every year, so read the latest notice before you apply.

Not always. While NEET is common, several Karnataka colleges also accept KCET scores, and some even offer direct admission based on 12th marks. This is different from MBBS, where NEET is compulsory everywhere. So if you missed NEET or didn't score well, you still have other routes into a good nursin

Possibly yes, if your college accepts the separate MH B.Sc Nursing CET exam. Not every student needs to clear NEET to get a nursing seat in Maharashtra. Some private institutes rely purely on this state-level test. So a weak NEET score doesn't automatically close the door on nursing.
