The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted on September 13. NEET 2020 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA will soon release the official answer key for NEET 2020. Meanwhile, Resonance coaching institute has released the NEET 2020 answer key on its website. Candidates can use this answer key of NEET 2020 by Resonance to evaluate their performance in this examination.

NEET 2020 answer key by Resonance has been released for all three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. To calculate the marks obtained in NEET 2020, candidates can refer to the answer key of NEET 2020 by Resonance. Follow the steps given below to calculate the marks:

NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

NEET 2020 was conducted in an offline mode. According to the NEET 2020 pattern, the question paper consisted of 180 MCQ based questions. The question paper had three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates were given three hours to attempt NEET 2020 question paper. Distribution of questions in the exam paper is given below

NEET 2020 Marking Scheme

Candidates must know the marking scheme of NEET 2020 to calculate their marks. NEET 2020 has negative marking system, therefore, candidates must read every step to understand the NEET 2020 marking system.

  • Give yourself four marks for every correct answer
  • Deduct one mark from the total for every incorrect answer
  • For questions left unanswered add zero marks
  • For questions where more than one response was marked, deduct one mark from the total
  • Such questions will be considered incorrect
  • Marks obtained=(Total correct answers x 4) – (Total incorrect answers x 1)

NEET cut off 2020 will be released along with the results. NEET 2020 cut off percentile is predefined by NTA. However, the cut off marks for NEET 2020 will be released along with the results. Meanwhile, candidates can refer to the NEET cut off for the previous years to get an idea of this year’s cut off.
