NEET 2020 Official Answer Key by NTA

NEET 2020 official answer key by NTA was released on September 26. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the official answer key of NEET 2020 in the pdf format along with the OMR sheet. The code-wise NEET 2020 official answer key is released on the official website of NTA only. Candidates have the provision of challenging the official answer key of NEET 2020 if they find any error or discrepancy in the same. Dates for the objection/challenging window have been announced, candidates can file the objections up to September 29. NTA will release the final NEET 2020 official answer key after taking into consideration all the challenges filed against the provisional answer key. After the final NEET 2020 answer key by NTA is released, no further changes in the answer key will be allowed.

NEET 2020 official answer key by NTA is provided for all the codes of question papers. Students can check their question booklet code and then download the relevant NEET 2020 answer key by NTA. They can then match the marked answers on their NEET 2020 OMR sheet with the answers provided in the official answer key. This way, they can evaluate their performance and calculate their score in NEET 2020.

NEET 2020 Marking Scheme

  • Each correct answer will fetch you +4 while an incorrect response will lead to negative marking of -1
  • There is no negative marking for unattempted questions
  • The answers marked with multiple options will be considered as incorrect and will be negatively marked
  • Students can check the total marks obtained in the paper using the formula given below:

NEET Score= (Total number of correct answers x 4) – (Total number of incorrect)

How to Challenge the Official Answer Key of NEET 2020 by NTA?

It students find any discrepancy in the NEET 2020 official answer key by NTA, they can challenge it. Raising any objections against the official answer key of NTA is called ‘challenging the answer key’. Students will have to pay a fixed fee for the same which will be refunded only if the challenge is accepted by NTA. Students get a time period of only 2 days to file their objections.

Steps to Challenge the Official NEET 2020 Answer Key by NTA

  1. To challenge the answer key, click here
  2. Login using the application ID and password
  3. Click on ‘Key Challenge’ and select the ‘Test Booklet Code’
  4. Select the questions to be challenged
  5. Select the answer that is correct according to the candidate and provide the necessary justification
  6. Click on ‘Submit’
  7. Pay the requisite fee using debit or credit card
  8. Download and save the confirmation slip

NEET 2020 OMR sheet

The OMR sheet is released along with the NEET 2020 official answer key by NTA. NEET 2020 OMR sheet is basically the scanned image of the responses marked by an aspirant in the exam. Students can challenge the OMR sheet also if they find any discrepancy in it. NTA will give two days to file objections against the OMR sheet displayed.

  1. Click on the link given above to visit the official website
  2. Login using the application ID and password
  3. Click on the option ‘OMR Challenge’ available on the page
  4. The number of questions and answers marked by the aspirants will be displayed on the screen

  6. Candidates can provide an alternative to the given option using the dropdown
  7. Click on ‘Submit’
  8. Pay the requisite fee
