The subject- wise official answer key of NEET 2020 can be downloaded from the official website of NTA NEET. The answer keys are available for all three subjects, i.e., Chemistry, Physics and Biology. - Once the answer key of all the three subjects is released on the official website, candidates can download it to verify their answers marked on the OMR sheet
- Students must crosscheck the code of the question paper before the tallying process
- Count the number of correct and incorrect responses and use the marking scheme given below for the calculation of marks
NEET 2020 Exam Pattern
NEET 2020 was conducted in an offline mode, i.e., it was held is a pen and paper based mode. This medical entrance test consists of three sections, i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Biology. A summary of the NEET exam pattern are:
- The question paper on NEET 2020 had MCQ based questions
- 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response
- There were a total 180 questions in the paper, 45 from each subject, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology
- The duration of the paper was three hours

NEET 2020 Marking Scheme
- Each correct answer will fetch you +4 while an incorrect response will lead to negative marking of -1
- There is no negative marking for unanswered questions
- The answers marked with multiple options will be considered as incorrect and will be marked accordingly
- Students can check the total marks obtained in the paper using the formula given below:
