NEET 2020 Exam Pattern
The candidates who have attempted the NEET 2020 examination are already aware of its pattern. Thus, with the help of the following short summary of the exam pattern, such candidates would be able to relate the question booklet with NEET 2020 answer key released by Pathfinder Academy. NTA conducted NEET 2020 examination offline. The answers were required to be filled by the candidates in NEET 2020 OMR sheet, which will also be available for download from the official NTA website. There were 180 MCQ based questions divided into three sections, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in the question booklet, as indicated by the pattern of NEET 2020. The calculation of the respective score in NEET 2020 maybe done by the candidate in the following manner:
- Download NEET 2020 answer key released by Pathfinder Academy.
- Match your respective answers with the answers given in NEET 2020 answer key by Pathfinder Academy in order to be able to arrive at the number of correct and incorrect responses.
- Then count the total number of correct and incorrect responses. But wait, what happens to the questions which remained unanswered and the ones where multiple responses were marked? Read on to know about the marking scheme of NEET 2020.
NEET 2020 Marking Scheme
Candidates are required to know about NEET 2020 marking scheme in order to be able to be able to mark the correct and incorrect responses accurately. NEET 2020 follows negative marking, thus, it becomes imperative for the candidates to read every step carefully to understand the marking system:
- A weightage of four marks is given to every correct answer.
- Thus, going by this logic, the total weightage of NEET 2020 question paper stands at 720 marks i.e. 180X4=720.
- Every answer which is incorrect will take away one mark from you.
- Questions with multiple responses will also take away one mark because they would be considered incorrect.
- Questions which have not been attempted would not impact your scores.
- First total correct responses would be calculated and would then be followed by total incorrect responses in order to arrive at your respective NEET 2020 score.

NEET 2020 Cut Off
NEET cutoff marks will be released alongside the results only.
