NEET PG counselling 2021 will start today with the registration process. Candidates will have to fill registration/application form on the official website of MCC in order to participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2021. The last date of registration is October 29. Read to know more.

NEET PG counselling 2021 will start today with the registration process. Candidates will have to fill registration/application form on the official website of MCC in order to participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2021. The last date of registration is October 29. Read to know more.

NEET PG counselling 2021 process will start on Monday, October 25. Candidates will have to register and fill application form to participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2021. Registration can be done on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee(MCC), mcc.nic.in. The whole process of the registration has been explained below. Candidates must note that MCC will be conducting counselling for allocationg 50 All India Quota, Deemed, Central Universities, AFMS seats. A total of 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,306 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 922 PG Diploma seats will be filled up through the counselling process. MCC will be conducting two rounds of NEET PG counselling 2021. A mop-up round will be conducted only if seats will remain vacant.

NEET PG Counselling: Important Points

  • Only NEET PG qualified candidates will be participating in the counselling 

  • Only those who will fill registration/application form in the given deadline will be eligible for seat allotment process

  • The registration/application form can be submitted only once. Any candidates who will submit more than one application form will be ineligible to participate in the counselling processes

  • Registration for counselling can be done from October 25 to October 29 till 12 PM

  • The window to fill choice of colleges and courses will open from October 26 to October 29

  • Candidates will have to lock the choice in the above mentioned deadline

  • The seat allotment result will be announced on November 3

  • Candidates should have an idea about the fee structure/any other additional fee in any particular college before filling up the choices for the same

How to Register for NEET PG 2021 Counselling?

Candidates need to following the steps given below to register for NEET PG counselling 2021

  • Visit the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in

  • Click on link that reads ‘PG Medical Counselling’

  • Do registration using a valid email ID and mobile number

  • Note down the login credentials

  • Login again to fill the application form

  • Enter personal/academic details/application number/roll number

  • Check the form before final submission

The National Board of Educations (NBE) had consducted NEET PG 2021 on September 11 in computer-based mode. NEET PG result 2021 was announced on September 28.

Yes, NEET PG city intimation slip was released on August 11, 2026. Candidates can check the city intimation slip through login portal. They can know the exam city name through the NEET PG city intimation slip.

Yes, for postgraduate medical courses like MD and MS, colleges accept NEET PG scores. For super-specialty courses, NEET SS is required. MBBS admission, however, is based only on NEET UG.

No. NEET-PG is mandatory for all MD admissions in India across all colleges, government, private, deemed, and central institutions. There is no alternative entrance exam or direct admission route for MD. Even foreign nationals of Indian origin need to qualify in the relevant entrance process.
