The Medical Counselling Committee has delayed the commencement of online registrations for NEET UG 2018 counselling. The online registrations were earlier scheduled to commence from June 13, which has now been delayed. An official notification on the same will soon be released by the conducting body.

The online registrations were earlier scheduled to commence from June 13, which has now been delayed. An official notification on the same will soon be released by the conducting body. 

The Medical Counselling Committee has delayed the commencement of online registrations for NEET UG 2018 counselling. However, the first round of NEET UG 2018 exam counselling process is schedule to commence from June 19 and last date to register online is June 18.

Candidates willing to seek admission into the MBBS courses offered at colleges accepting NEET UG scores will have to register online by submitting the required details as on or before the due date. On successful registration, candidates will be asked to make the payment of the prescribed registration fee. The payment facility will be available from June 19, after the successful conduct of online registrations.

How to register online for NEET UG 2018 first round counselling

Candidates have to follow the below process to register for NEET counselling process at the MCC website. 

Step 1: Visit the official website

Step 2: Click on “UG Counselling” tab

Step 3: Navigate to “NEET UG 2018 Registrations and Choice filling” link

Step 5: Fill in all the required details and submit

Step 6: After submitting the form, candidates will be asked to make the payment of registration fee

Step 7: Payment of prescribed registration fee will confirm the registration of candidate for the counselling process

The process of choice filling will commence soon after the registration and payment process for the first round is successfully concluded. The final process of seat allocation to the eligible candidates will commence from June 20.

NEET UG 2018 merit list for the first round of document verification and seat allotment process will be released on June 22. Candidates with their names mentioned in NEET UG 2018 counselling results shall report at the allotted centres within a period of 11 days; from June 23 to July 3. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is an all India entrance examination which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admissions into the MBBS and BDS programmes offered at colleges across the country. Around 13,26,725 registered for NEET UG 2018 exam was conducted at 2,255 centres and across 136 cities on May 6 and the NEET results were announced on June 4.
