Delhi University admission 2026 to UG programmes is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by the NTA. Candidates can get into B.Ed programme of DU based on performance in the CUET-PG exam. To be eligible, aspirants must have the prescribed qualifications by the university. The seat allotment is done as per the preferences filled by the candidates. The admission process begins with CUET registrations. Hence, aspirants who fulfil the eligibility requirements shall first go to the NTA website and submit form before the deadline.
After the exam, a cutoff list is released. Candidates with a score equal to or better than the cutoff are selected. These candidates can then pay the admission fee amount to lock their seats.
No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.
After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.

DU cutoff for the UG courses is derived from the scores of CUET entrance exams. For the PG cutoff, CUET PG scores are accepted. Also, the Delhi University admission to UG and PG courses are through affiliated colleges. DU cut off has been released for BA, BSc and BCom among other undergraduate courses. In 2025, the closing NEET rank for MBBS course of Maulana Azad Medical College was 103 for General All India category. The rank was 151 in 2024 and 87 in 2023. Looking at the rank, it is difficult for candidates to get admission with a rank of 620 in NEET.
