Candidates who want to take admission to medical, paramedical and allied programs in 2026-27 will be required to take NEET registration. The NTA is likely to conduct the NEET exam on May 3, 2026. The official NEET exam date 2026 will be known after the release of the information brochure.

The NTA released the official NEET UG 2026 syllabus on January 8, 2026. The NTA NEET syllabus PDF contains the same chapters and topics published by the NMC. Candidates can download the NEET 2026 syllabus by NTA and NMC below. The NMC finalised the NEET 2026 syllabus on its website on December 22, 2025. Earlier, the NTA issued instructions on January 5, 2026, asking candidates to get their documents updated before filling the NEET application form 2026. The documents which require updation are aadhaar card, UDID card and category certificates.
