CUET UG 2026 list of State Universities is available at cuet.nta.nic.in. The National Testing Agency has updated the list of State Universities that will be accepting CUET scores. More than 25 State universities will be accepting CUET UG. The list will be updated regularly on official website. Candidates can know the complete list of state universities, UG courses and counselling registration dates here.
NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam tentatively from May 11 to May 31, 2026 in CBT mode. Students must obtain a score in CUET UG to participate in the admission process of State Universities. After the declaration of CUET result 2026, candidates must apply for the desired CUET state universities following the process mentioned in this article.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score 2026 will be accepted by more than 205 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. CUET UG langauge section will now consist of 13 languages instead of 33 languages. The 13 langauges of CUET UG 2026 are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Whereas, the languages which have been deleted are: Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Janpanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit.

CUET UG 2026 State Universities Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to CUET UG 2026 state universities must fulfill the below eligibility criteria:

  • Student must have passed or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board.\
  • General Category student must have score a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12.
  • SC/ST/OBC Category students must have scores 45% marks in Class 12.
  • There is no age limit, although some universities may have specific requirements.
