Gujarat Technological University (GTU), is a state private university that was established in 2007 in Gandhinagar. It has a total of 486 affiliated institutes under its name operating in five areas that are Vallabh Vidyanagar, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat and Gandhinagar. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
