Studied hard for exams, revised every chapter, solved every previous year paper, yet could not make it to the mark. No worries, covering up for the next shot can get it done.
Remember, not every time, it happens the way you want or the way you planned. Moreover, it’s not always possible to have an all-round performance. Thus, focus on your next favourite subject to score well and give your best shot. Follow your plans and performance wisely, while, leave the rest on the day. One of the major reasons to have a bad exam is getting nervous in the examination hall and forgetting things.
What to do when the exam doesn’t go well?
One feels all stressed out during the exam, be it a simple class test or a much more significant like JEE mains and it leads to forgetting the answers even if the person is well prepared. The fear of exam or the fear of failing the exam also sometimes captures the student’s mind, affecting the answers. Now, buckle up and prepare for the next challenge, as one problem cannot break you down to lose all other opportunities. For this:
Explore colleges based on JEE Main
- Forget all the worries and past happenings and focus on the new plans.
- Indulge yourself in the new subject that can help you score well.
- Think of the mistakes done in the previous exam and try to overcome them in the other.
- Do not focus on the problems. Moreover, utilise the time to improve your grades.
- Don’t think negatively. Wait for the results to know how you really performed.
Emotional behavior after failure
The experience of failing is certainly depressing to many students. Moreover, knowing the notion that future opportunities like getting admissions in top colleges depend on good grades, is more depressing. However, this is not true. Student’s complete life or further studies is not only dependent on grades. Your talent, skills and performance play an equal role in getting the desired success. Put your best efforts and leave the rest in the hands of God.
Everybody loses some or the other thing in life. Some people even lose success. Remember, to come back from any situation is difficult but not impossible. The fear of failing in exams might be devastating, but aligning your strengths and weaknesses might help in overcoming that fear. Follow your goals, skills and passion and no one can stop you from getting good grades. So, let the future be decided by you, by focusing on the essential parts and planning according to your healthy and suitable level.
