AMIE 2025 Summer Exam: Registration, Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus

The Institution of Engineers, India conducts the AMIE exam for admission to BE and BTech courses conducted in distance mode. The AMIE exam is the only gateway for students to study engineering in a distance mode. The degrees thus awarded are recognised by all the state governments, the Central Government, AICTE, UPSC, and other authorities.

Candidates can fill the AMIE 2025 application form in both online and offline modes. Check both AMIE application processes below, 

AMIE 2025 Application Process: Online Mode

Candidates can fill the AIME 2025 summer application form via online mode and have to complete registration, fill the application form, upload documents, and pay the application fee. Check the required steps below;

1. Visit the website of the Institute of Engineers (India): ieindia.org
2. New Candidates must create an account by clicking on the "Be a Member"
3. After registration candidates need to log in and fill out the AMIE 2024 application form
4. Candidates must fill in all the details correctly such as personnel details, academic details, and others. 
5. Candidates must fill in the test centre preferences very carefully
6. After completing the AMIE 2025 application form, upload documents such as a Photograph, education qualification certificates
7. Once completed, Candidates can finally submit the application form after preview.
8. After final submission, Candidates must make payment of the AMIE 2025 application fee through the prescribed means only.

AMIE 2025 Application Process: Offline

Candidates can fill out the AMIE 2025 application form in offline mode,check the following steps;

1. Visit the IEI website: ieindia.org
2. Download the AMIE 2025 Application Form PDF
3. Fill the AMIE 2025 application form
4. Attach the Demand Draft according to the AIME 2025 application fee
5. Send only to the Secretary & Director General, The Institution of Engineers (India), 8 Gokhale Road, Kolkata 700 020, and must accompany the fee by DRAFT drawn on a Bank at Kolkata in favour of 'The Institution of Engineers (India)'.
   Particulars of the Draft should be mentioned in the form at the appropriate place. Name and Membership No. of the candidate must be mentioned on the reverse of the draft.
6. Cheques, postal orders, money orders, etc are not acceptable for payment of the examination fee

For the AMIE 2025 summer exam, candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria.

• Candidates should have a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent in any branch of engineering.
• There are no mark restrictions in admission.
• Candidates with a minimum 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 12th or equivalent exam are eligible.

The AMIE exam is conducted twice as a summer and a winter examination. Candidates who want to clear the exam must be aware of the syllabus. Candidates must cover the syllabus holistically and revise it thoroughly to ace the AMIE 2025 summer examination. There are two sections of the AMIE exam: Section A and Section B. AMIE 2025 Section A Syllabus

The AMIE 2025 section A syllabus is defined for two categories: Diploma and Non-diploma students.

The Institute of Engineers (India) will release the AMIE 2025 admit card for all the registered candidates. Students will have to download the admit card of AMIE online. Check the process to download the admit card below.

• Enter your IEI Membership number.
• The admit card will appear on the screen in PDF format.
• Download the AMIE admit card.

The Institution of Engineers (IE) will announce the AMIE Summer 2025 result online. The students who appear for the AMIE 2025 Summer exam will be able to check the AMIE 2025 result on ieindia.org. Also, a direct link will be provided here once it is released. Candidates will be able to check their scores, qualifying status and other details on the result.
