PREPARATION STRATEGY
JEE Main consists of 3 sections viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All of it is equally important and plays a key role in scoring good marks in JEE. One of the Main Mantra to clear JEE exam is that All the concepts should be crystal clear.
- Strategy for Physics: The best strategy for this section is to clearly understand the basic concepts and more focus should be provided to Important Topics. ( For Important Topics refer to " Important Topics for Physics" )
- Strategy for Chemistry: The strategy for Chemistry is to divide the syllabus into 2 aspects viz. Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. This will help to remove difficulty to cover syllabus.
- Strategy for Mathematics: Mathematics demands more and more practice. The more you practice, the more you perfect. The more focus is on important concepts. ( For Important Topics, refer " Important Topics for Mathematics " ).
General Tips for JEE
- Make Charts for formulae and important derivations.
- Must devote sufficient time for Revision
- Make Routine Plan for covering the syllabus and stick to it. Remember, 'The person who fails to plan, plans to fail.'
- Make all the basic concepts clear from one book.
- Check the recent syllabus before preparation.
- Adopt certain habits to reduce stress level i.e. Yoga, Exercise etc.
- For self-evaluation, solve at least 10-15 previous years papers to find out loopholes in your preparation.
Last, but not the least, Rome was not built in one day. Accept failure as the training session in the path of success. Never lose hope.

If a question is dropped in the JEE Main exam, then the candidates of the shift from which the question is dropped will get bonus marks. It does not matter if you attempted the question or not. If a question from your shift is dropped then you will be eligible for +4 bonus marks.
