JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by National Testing Agency, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development for

admission in Undergraduate Engineering courses in IITs, NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions ( CFTIs) across India.

JEE Main consists of 3 sections viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All of it is equally important and plays a key role in scoring good marks in JEE. One of the Main Mantra to clear JEE exam is that All the concepts should be crystal clear.

  1. Strategy for Physics: The best strategy for this section is to clearly understand the basic concepts and more focus should be provided to Important Topics. ( For Important Topics refer to " Important Topics for Physics" )
  2. Strategy for Chemistry: The strategy for Chemistry is to divide the syllabus into 2 aspects viz. Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. This will help to remove difficulty to cover syllabus.
  3. Strategy for Mathematics: Mathematics demands more and more practice. The more you practice, the more you perfect. The more focus is on important concepts. ( For Important Topics, refer " Important Topics for Mathematics " ).

General Tips for JEE

  1. Make Charts for formulae and important derivations.
  2. Must devote sufficient time for Revision
  3. Make Routine Plan for covering the syllabus and stick to it. Remember, 'The person who fails to plan, plans to fail.'
  4. Make all the basic concepts clear from one book.
  5. Check the recent syllabus before preparation.
  6. Adopt certain habits to reduce stress level i.e. Yoga, Exercise etc.
  7. For self-evaluation, solve at least 10-15 previous years papers to find out loopholes in your preparation.

Last, but not the least, Rome was not built in one day. Accept failure as the training session in the path of success. Never lose hope.

Yes. The syllabus overlaps heavily, and JEE preparation often covers TS EAMCET topics. Just add state-specific mock tests for better speed and familiarity.

No, candidates are not required to appear in AUEE if they have secured a valid JEE Mains score. These candidates will be directly proceeded to Alliance Selection Process. Final admission is based on a combined score of last qualifying exam, entrance exam and Alliance Selection Process score.

The JEE Mains cutoff of 2026 has not been released yet. However, in 2025 the closing rank for the general category for BTech in AI and ML was 1843344. In 2024 the closing rank for SDEC BTech AI and ML was 737084.
