How is the GATE exam conducted?
GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) along with seven IITs (Roorkee, Guwahati, Madras, Kanpur, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kharagpur). The IITs conduct GATE exam on rotational basis.
