JoSAA 2025 Counselling
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) publishes the JoSAA cutoff ranks, comprising opening and closing ranks, after each round of seat allotment. The JoSAA 2025 opening rank signifies the threshold from which an institution begins allocating seats for a particular course, while the closing rank denotes the last rank eligible for seat allotment. For JoSAA 2025, the cutoff for IITs will be determined based on the JEE Advanced 2025 ranks, whereas the cutoff for NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs will rely on JEE Main 2025 ranks.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority is an admission and e-counselling services established by Ministry of Education. It regulates admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Yes, digitally signed caste certificates will be considered as valid for JEE Main, Advanced and Jossa counselling as they are properly authenticated and meet the specified requirements.
JoSAA counselling is usually held in 5 or 6 rounds. The admission process for admissions in 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) will be done by JoSAA in various rounds deending on various factors.
